Country quite but off the beaten path. Extraordinary personal attention by owner...great spot for special events like wedding, small party or family reunion.
Bedding not the most comfortable.

Posted Aug. 11, 2021 on HotelsWent to rural Maine for a wedding and although we weren’t at the inn for any length of time we felt very very welcome and comfortable. Our room was beautiful and breakfast and company were amazing!
Staff were very attentive while in the background.

A Gem in the Woods!
Posted Jul. 18, 2021 on HotelsOur stay was a surprising delight. We didn't know what to expect. We also had know idea The Waterford Inne was literally in the middle of know where. And we could not have been more happy with our decision. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by Barbara, the Inne Keeper who made us feel like we were being welcomed back. It was our first time. She showed us to our room (The Nantucket) and we were shocked at how quaint and "new" the room was. Every aspect of the Inne was new and clean for this 100 plus year home. Breakfast was amazing. We wish we known about making dinner reservations. Which would have been a great option as well. The Adirondack chairs overlooking the pond and landscape made for a nice evening of relaxing. We will be back!!!!!

Staff extremely professional, punctual, courteous and organized. The Inn was beautifully decorated for the holiday, clean and warm. Food and other amenities for comfort were plentiful, appetizing and timely. Also, had the opportunity to meet owners Barb and Jan who were rich in history and conversation. Great place

Apologies that current circumstances have caused me to delay my response. We were the lucky recipients of guests lodging with us for local weddings. Your stay was brief but we look forward to seeing you again. The room you chose has lovely views in all seasons. When you return perhaps you can relax on your porch and take time to enjoy the gardens and the bird songs...and we hope to tempt you to have a leisurely dinner here at the inn.
