Visiting son at SUNY Brockport
Publié le 18 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property was very nice and cozy. We were traveling with our dog and it was perfect for us. We enjoyed walking through the woods and exploring the frisbee golf course. The view of the lake is stunning and my dog and I enjoyed a sunrise walk. Even though the weather didn’t cooperate the house was comfy and we enjoyed relaxing and spending time with our son. We will definitely book again when we can further enjoy the lake and spend more time outdoors. The home was well equipped with guides of the area and amenities like firewood and supplies if we wanted to try frisbee golf. We would have definitely liked to have had more time to spend there.

Quiet and peaceful

Amazing View
Publié le 22 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayCottage was as described. Very cute, recently renovated. Owners extremely nice and very helpful with farm markets, parks, restaurants, etc. that can be found locally. Best part was the view from the deck near the lake. So relaxing!

It was so nice meeting you and Vince. We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay! You had a perfect week to enjoy the lake. The weather was warm and sunny the entire week, and the nights were nice and cool.
The deep blue skies that mirror the blue of the lake, is one of the many reasons I just love September!

Enjoyed Our Stay

For awareness, the cottage is small and has an open floorplan which incorporates the bedroom, living room, kitchen and eating area. Enough room for 2. There is access to a W/D but not in the cottage itself. Only mentioning this for awareness. The cottage is pretty, and the hosts are very nice and gracious.

It was wonderful hosting your family (including your beautiful dogs). I’m glad you enjoyed your stay with us. The weather was so nice while you were here. We’re having a ‘cooler than usual’ August, which is perfect for folks escaping the heat in the south.

Breathtaking views

The area is so quiet and scenic, with a beautiful state park just steps away. The view from the house itself was amazing, definitely my favorite view of anywhere I’ve stayed. We would love to go back!
