Chestnut hill is a currently a quaint 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin with outdoor hot tub jacuzzi… all tucked in a wooded corner bordering the Yellow River Forest. The cabin is laid out with one bedroom upstairs in the loft with a queen bed, the master bedroom on Main Floor with a KING bed, hide-a-bed queen sofa in the Living Room and the newly remodeled lower level has bedroom with Queen Bed, and living room with Queen Hideabed sofa….and a 65″ TV. It has a full kitchen with new appliances, ….stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, central Heat ….and WiFi with cable TV. This cabin also features a nice deck with a barbecue gas grill. Just behind the cabin you can start hiking and exploring miles of trails in the Yellow River Forest. Relax in the cozy living room with the woodburning stove or enjoy a fire outside around the firepit. The cabin can sleep up to 10 comfortably.

Girls Weekend Trip
It was a great stay! Only downside to the cabin was that there was no hot water in the kitchen to clean dishes, we did a lot of cooking at the cabin. Other than that it was a great experience!

Once a country girl, always a country girl and this cabin did not disappoint! Very pretty cabin in the beautiful IA countryside. Nice and quiet for a good night's sleep, too.

We had a fun weekend stay at this cabin. It was decently private and very cozy. We loved the aesthetic of the cabin in the woods and thought the features reflected that well. Some issues we ran into… Hot tub: half the jets didn’t turn on and the filter was all clogged. Shower curtain was moldy Upstairs bathroom sink doesn’t drain The provided DVD player doesn’t have a place to connect on the TV it’s zip tied to The stairs are extremely steep making it difficult for pets, young children or older folks to go downstairs All in all, we had a pretty good stay. A few smaller issues but it’s a great little cabin. All in all,
