Beautiful & Relaxing
Publié le 11 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayEverything was as described. The view was amazing, very peaceful. We took advantage of the small boat and fishing area, the hot tub (lots of jets, really nice!), grilled on the small charcoal grill, sat by the fire. Our dog especially enjoyed herself, this was the first trip we had taken her on, so it was very nice to be able to do that.
We would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful location and owners

Disappointed
Publié le 20 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were greeted by about 50 flies as soon as we walked in the door. Upon looking over the house, there we’re about 100 more on the windows. During our stay they were landing in our food and drinks. The flies were even in the bathroom all over the mirror. Also, I was glad to have brought my own towel for the shower as the ones provided smelled of cigarettes. The outside of the house needs some freshening up as well. Chipped paint. Faded deck. And just a FYI, the parking area is shared. We were not aware of that. When we came back the one evening there was a car parked next to the home. We had to park very close to the house. Unfortunately we won’t be staying there again.

Short get away

Great river front cabin
Publié le 10 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved our getaway at the Lazy Bear cabin. Perfect cabin for our group of four. The host was amazing. He showed us all around the property, took pictures for us and told lots of fun stories about the history of the property. So much to do here: boating around the small islands in the river, walking and biking on 10 miles of trails along the river, campfires, yard games hot tubs, etc.

Great place to stay
Publié le 6 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe really enjoyed this property. The cabin was very nice and we loved the area. The owner was a joy to talk with. This cabin is very close to a great walking/biking path. I would highly recommend this property.

Rustic getaway
Publié le 23 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayProperty was clean and as advertised. Cabins were unique and well stocked. The owner, Parker, was fantastic. He explained a lot about the local activities and restaurants. He helped launch the boat and even took our picture. We enjoyed canoeing on the Maumee River. Beautiful parks, bird watching, and walking/biking paths nearby. Waterville is a quaint town with wonderful restaurants.

Relaxing and Safe
Publié le 23 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayI ended up staying in this cottage with just my dog. I felt very safe. It had a beautiful view of the river and easy access to the hiking trail. The owner lives 2 doors down and was super friendly. I would recommend.
