Everything went great until the next morning when we woke up to NO water in any of the rooms. When I went to speak with someone at the front desk, there was a note saying that they had experienced a broken pipe. If it were not for the NO water I would have gave a great rating. Room was super clean and orderly.

We are so sorry for this inconvenience. A water main broke in the ground. We had all hands on deck to find where the break was and tried to dig it up and repair it ASAP. That is why no one was at the desk. It was our hope to repair it quickly, but it took time to locate it and repair it. We have reached out to every guest who stayed with us to express our profound apologies for this problem. There was no indication that this was going to happen and it was totally unexpected as I am sure you can understand.We are so glad to hear you enjoyed our establishment other than the broken water line.

Lage top: Blick auf See zwischen Weingütern und Watkins Glen. Dazu Feuerstelle, Schaukelstühle, Fenster mit Fliegengittern. Liebevoll eingerichtet, aber stark in die Jahre gekommen. Klimagerät/Heizung nur bedingt vertrauenswürdig, offenes Kabel am Bett. Auch wenn die Anlage an sich toll war, würden wir wahrscheinlich nicht noch mal buchen.

We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay. I am not sure if you have our property mixed up with somewhere else. We do not have any fireplaces in our Motel. The heat and air conditioning is very reliable. So glad you enjoyed everything else.

This was an older hotel but for the most part it was well kept.Beds were comfy and my favorite they give lots of pillows! Also my room had a nice rocker recliner!!! Loved that! Very nice!!!!

Reviews like this make no sense to me. I really think it is irresponsible to give a grade and no comments at all. We strive for cusyomer satisfaction and this tells me nothing of your experience. If things were that bad, you should have let us know and we would have made it right.

Way to expensive for what it wasThe room had an oder .there was a power receptacle about hanging out the wall and thr mini fridge was plugged into an extension cord witch is a fire Hazzard... will not go back

I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay. This review, unfortunately, is misstating the facts. There was no power receptacle hanging out of the wall. The only thing we found was the wall plate covering the receptacle was loose. Thank you for pointing that out. We just tightened the screw holding the wall plate to the receptacle. As far as the extension cord, this is a code approved extention cord for appliances and certainly does not a fire hazzard. We checked the room for any odors and could smell none. I wish you could have given more spefic explanation to describe the odor such as a gas smell or musty smell would be more helpful. Again, we did not smell any odor.We find most reviews are very helpful for us to provide our customers an enjoyable stay with us. That is our ultamate goal. We always read them and follow up on all comments. Not being factual is frustrating to us. Opinions vary from customer to customer and we do not have a problem with that. We actually welcome them in hopes customers have some valuable feedback to help us.I am sorry you felt the room was too expensive. Our rates are very competetive and fair. If you do some research, you will find this to be true.

The property is conveniently located to Watkins Glen and the lake area. It's a very basic motor lodge, but that's all we needed.
