Great apartment for a couple
Publié le 30 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe coordinated our trip with friends staying at the KOA. This apartment was close enough to make meeting up for dinner/sight seeing easy. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood which we prefer over the noise of all the activity areas of the campground. The open room layout was fine for the two of us and the beach is within a sort walking distance.

Perfect Anniversary Getaway

The home was a short walk or bike ride away from beach access where we spent our days. In the morning my wife would wake up and ride a bike to get coffee and read some of her book. Then we would go to the beach and come home and grill our dinners. When we first arrived we had a few questions for Stan and he replied very quickly and was quick to help. We hope to return in the coming years. Thank you for everything!

Apartment has everything I need. Was very quiet, comfortable, clean and safe. The owner answered all our questions pretty quickly.

The hosts are good people who have everything you need for a nice stay. Beach is a short walk, the place is clean and cozy. It's tucked back in a cul-de-sac so it is quiet. I would highly recommend this place.

Great easy going retreat spot

Autumn in the OBX
Publié le 24 oct. 2022 sur HomeAwayHad a great three days/two nights in October. The weather was perfect, and the crowds were gone. The place is perfect for a couple: Convenient, spacious, clean, and comfortable. The beach is very short walk away and Hwy 12 is far enough away not to be heard. The only thing missing is an oven/stove if you want to eat in, but there is a microwave and toaster oven. We'll come back.

Great location!
Publié le 26 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayThe apartment is clean and comfortable. Great location to the beach. The walk maybe a little more than 2 minutes for us 65+ folks.
Tons of amenities. We never noticed in the photos that there is no oven or stove. Stan offered to bake my breakfast casserole I had previously prepared for us! Thanks Stan for everything!

Rustic Do It Yourself Ambience
Publié le 22 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayConveniently located efficiency space built beneath the main house. Recreational/Beach amenities were used and much appreciated. Roaches were present inside. Cookware found but no stovetop available. Towels, paper products, and cleaning supplies were convenient.

Hi Brian unfortunately yes there are water bugs in the yard and all over the island and you eventually can see one inside, not roaches because those get attracted to dirt, food and rotting materials… while the water bugs are just living in the area like all the other insects in our beautiful area. And there is no stovetops available because it’s against the law to have them on the first floor. But we have a crockpot, waffle makers, egg boiler/poacher, charcoal grill outside… just make sure to ask next time guys, if you cant find them yourself we’ll be more than happy to point them out to you. If you however plan to roast something or need a full kitchen you should look for a whole house which we have plenty of around here and any local real estate agency will be happy to assist you
