Very nice Ranch

Short get away
Publié le 18 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayI enjoyed the stay but the trash can was full when we arrived so we did have to leave 2 trash bags at the trash can in the kitchen. Everything else was great.

Mixed bag

Our main concern was the dirty carpeting. Yet, as we were checking out the carpet cleaning crew arrived; a surprisingly quick response by the owner.
Otherwise, I can offer some pluses and minuses that you might want to share with the owner.
+ new appliances
+ new, flat screen TVs
+ computer and printer there, as well as high speed internet
- limited, mis-matched silverware and sharp knives
- new furniture too large for rooms
- walls need to be painted
- only 4 chairs for the dining room table, even though there was supposedly space for 6 (we had only 4 adults).
A final comment on the cost. The cleaning fee may be based on a party oriented bunch, but is exorbitant for 4 senior citizens who left the place at least as clean as was the case on arrival.

Robert, The homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and would like to clarify the following:
- Yes, the carpets have been cleaned by a professional carpet company
- We are working to replace the broken chair and will be doing some cleanup as well
- The computer and TV work very well, we have not had any issues with them
- We are diligent in making the necessary changes and updates to our home, but these days it's been hard to find help as well as parts that have to be ordered. But we do our best to ensure our guests have what is needed for their enjoyment and pleasure. Items are replaced as needed
- The cleaning fee is fair and necessary, we appreciate guests like you who leave it as clean as when you got here, but we still need to have our cleaners out to clean and sanitize for the new guests
We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver those 5-star experiences we are known for.
