A sweet little overnight spot

Publié le 21 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis place is lovely. It feels very rustic and tucked away, but it is so close to so many things! Everything about the place itself was so intentional. We loved the record player, the gas fireplace, the fan/space heater in the bedroom! We had a small issue upon arrival, and the host was so responsive and accommodating - it just made us enjoy the stay more!! One thing to note - and this didn't bother us at all (we slept SO well) - is that there is some overnight truck traffic on the bridge behind the cabin, so if you are a light sleeper, definitely plan accordingly!

Lovely stay!
Publié le 12 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were so pleased with everything about this lovely home! It was clean & well supplied with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable! We loved having the stream right there & watching the birds. The location was perfect for visiting the area & seeing the sites. We enjoyed the Fort Ritchie museum & the Greenhouse Cafe. My husband was stationed there 51 years ago. I would highly recommend this property!

Waynesboro Stay
Publié le 26 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property was nicely located, close to Hagerstown. Nice river running thru the property. The cabin was well maintained. Floor in kitchen was fairly dirty but the rest of the house was good. When reading the info book and finding out the property has a lot of snakes I was disappointed that wasn’t information in the listing. I have a phobia of snakes and it made the stay uncomfortable. Also the snake skin on the mantle was unsettling.
