Well worth the price
Waynesboro impressed me more than I expected. For a basic city in the heart of the Shenandoah there is a lot of hidden gems to discover. The Econo lodge is nothing to write home about but I found it to be well worth the cost. The room was exceptionally clean (for a budget hotel), breakfast was continental, and the bed was comfy… everything you can ask for at $60/night.

Our stay was great. We did not have a chance to explore the surrounding areas or get a chance explore the amenities the hotel offered because we just stayed for one night but the hotel was fine and they also had breakfast, that’s always a plus.

Extremely dirty room, fruit flies everywhere, smell of marijuana was strong, NO SECURITY! I am very dissapointed that Expedia would advertise this DUMP as an option and paint such a nice picture of it. My trust in Expedia has been severely eroded. Obviously Expedia does not know what they are selling and it is just about getting paid. Very, VERY dissappointed...!

We got to Waynesboro before Helene took power and I was thrilled to be able to do some laundry after two weeks on the road. Breakfast was really good too with hot choices.
