Lovely Mountain Getaway
Publié le 6 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayCarl was a fantastic host and thought of everything. The kitchen was well stocked, the bedroom and living room furniture were super comfy. The hot tub provided much welcome relief foe our tired and sore legs after hiking in the National Park. Sitting by the creek was also a fantastic way to relax. I highly recommend this property. It offers you easy access to the National Park and the Blue Ridge mountains while still
providing a quiet secluded place to relax.

Wonderful Retreat

Nice house
Publié le 5 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayNice house Pros - great creek, home design and hot tub. Cons - restrooms and kitchen had a sewage smell on our last 2 days. Wifi and 5g only sometimes worked. No laundry supplies.

Hi Kelly, thank you for staying with us. I'm glad you enjoyed the sounds of the creek as much as I do. I haven't experienced any issues with a sewer smell before, and this is the first time I've heard of it. We always keep laundry detergent in the cabinet above the washing machine, but it may have been overlooked during supply checks. Our internet is generally reliable for being in the mountains, but unfortunately, it can go out at times. We hope you had a great stay and look forward to welcoming you back again.

Idyllic creekside stay

Good location, pretty house, poor communication

Very Poor communication from the owner
House was not cleaned well, cobwebs on lights, trash in the yard, no body wash in the dispensers in the bathrooms, etc. (it was nice and tidy just little details)
Sketchy / unsafe outdoor lighting

The location was great, close to everything.

Loved the creek
