Sweet Getaway in Weaverville
Publié le 1 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayLike staying at Grandma’s house! Sweet little cottage in a private location. Plenty of room in yard for children or a dog to run (the yard is not enclosed). There are four grocery stores nearby, and it is very convenient to Weaverville and 20 minutes to Asheville (with no traffic). The kitchen is well-supplied. We spent most of our time in the cozy living room.

We are so thrilled you enjoyed your stay! “Like being at grandmas”…. Exactly what we say, it’s even hard for us to leave when cleaning and taking care of the cottage. Wonderful stay!
Publié le 26 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a completely wonderful much needed time away at Rabbit Hollow. Everything was just as described and the owners were very friendly and caring. Great communication! They even left us some tasty pastries. They left us supplies for s'mores as well! Bonus…we got to see fall colors and snow! Our teens had a blast making a snowy bonfire and building a snowman. The cabin is great, quiet, and secluded which was very nice. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. We were able to enjoy a Thanksgiving feast. It’s just a short drive into town. Weaverville is one of our favorite places. Blue Mountain Pizza is a must for us. We were able to enjoy a couple of days at the Biltmore doing all things Christmas. Black Mountain is open and wanting visitors. Downtown Asheville is as well. We were able to visit and support many places that we love in the area. We also enjoyed a short drive to the Arboretum to enjoy Winter Lights. We are already planning a summer trip and would 10/10 return to Rabbit Hollow!

Lovely from start to finish

This property and the hosts are all wonderful, Weaverville is open with excellent food, arts, crafts and the people who make them!Asheville is open and will welcome you as well.

You are exactly right, the majority of businesses, restaurants and shops are back up and running and are in need of guest to return to our beautiful area. There are some areas with more scares than others but all desire your patronage!

Peaceful little cottage

It was a good base to spend some family time while one of the kids is studying at UNC Asheville and way better than a hotel..
Really enjoyed the pie, thank-you..

Another Perfect Vacation
Publié le 18 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis has become our “home away from home”. The hosts do an incredible job making this house a cozy and comfy cottage that immediately makes you feel like home. Everything is perfectly decorated, and is well stocked with essentials and a whole s’mores making platter to use at the fire pit. This was our second stay at this cottage and we can’t wait to boom our third.

Birthday Weekend

It was convenient to some great local spots for dining. We could have sit on the porch forever enjoying the peaceful environment.

Publié le 19 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property is so comfortable and nicely appointed. The Apple pie was a nice gesture. The house is updated and private but also so close to anything you may need or do. The owner has thought of everything! We absolutely loved staying and will definitely return.

Grandkids
Publié le 28 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt fit our needs helped that it had washer and dryer. Apple pie was a plus seen a bear in the church yard on Sunday morning. Rain kept us from s’mores coffee on the porch was relaxing

Rabbit Hollow
Publié le 23 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was our 2nd time staying at Rabbit Hollow. We love the little cottage so much. My dogs are able to be outside and play in the spacious yard. The cottage is very convenient to downtown Weaverville as well as a short drive to Asheville.
