Our favorite nature retreat

Home Stay
Publié le 4 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwaySome places are houses, the Rauch cabin is a home, the feel of a home. Being on the Salmon river is neat, but special so this time of year with the fish moving upstream.

Great family vacation spot
Publié le 19 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a great time, house had everything we needed. Close to amenities, grocery store and restaurants. Beautiful country, close to water falls, hiking trails, river, fishing, golf. We went up to Mt Hood’s Timberline Lodge and Government Camp.
In the evening we enjoyed the back deck overlooking the river, grilled out and watched the salmon swim up the river. We had a great family vacation.

Relaxing place to play some cards
Publié le 29 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy parents came to visit from Nebraska so my partner and I rented this place for the weekend. We loved playing cribbage out in the deck & our senior dog loved the sounds of the Salmon River. We will definitely do this again!

Welches Riverfront property
Publié le 8 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house was super cute and very clean. The back patio overlooked the river which was amazing! My only thought would be, it was extremely hot when we were there. I wish they would have maybe a couple of window A/C’s that we could have used. It’s not a complaint, just a suggestion as going forward. Other than that, perfection!

So relaxing

The home was comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the host communicative and gracious. It was a wonderful weekend of hiking, reading, playing games, and dining on the patio. A beautiful and convenient location. It will definitely be on my return list. Thank you!
