Amazing place in the city
Publié le 26 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayOur party of 7 stayed here for 4 days and it was a perfect home base for us. Owners were extremely kind and helpful and the whole process could not have been better. Highly recommend!

Thanks for the 5 Star review. For those who are concerned about access, OB Retreat is located in Oriental Bay at the base of Mt Victoria. Like most streets in Wellington, it is elevated. This naturally ensures you have great views of the harbour. We offer two car parks on our car deck for standard vehicles. Should you have more than 2 cars, coupon parking is available on Oriental Parade. OB Retreats location does mean you are only a short stroll into the city and a lot of Wellington attractions.

Perfect for us
Publié le 30 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayI'm pleased we booked this lovely house in Oriental Parade. For 10 of us having two bathrooms and numerous bedrooms we had plenty of space and no tripping over each other.
The accommodation is spotless. A lot of work has gone into the bedding, it's immaculate, comfy and clean.
Excellent communication and clear instructions, Carolyn is a thoughtful and caring host. Having the two car parks was extremely useful for us. The location is still walking distance to downtown though or a quick uber.
Loved sitting in the lounge watching the shipping action on the harbour.

Lovely Central Family Getaway

OB Retreat is fabulous with everything you’ll need
Publié le 24 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayAs a group of ladies having a large house with 2 bathrooms was just what we needed. The house is superbly appointed with absolutely everything you’ll need and a Gorgeous view to boot. We would highly recommend this property and we would rent it again.

Ideal for big group

The house was spacious with wonderful views of the Bay (and the stadium across the bay). Loads of natural light through large front windows. Kitchen was well equipped too, so we were able to save some money by cooking.

Great for a group gathering

Great communication from hosts. Would highly recommend to groups or big family gatherings. Would love to stay again.

Beautiful views, warmth, location to be able to walk a lot & so much more resulted in the perfect stay. Host was fantastic also. Highly, highly recommend.
