Medical Vacation

Maria of Spain May 2025The Maria of Spain accommodations are exactly as they are presented in the VRBO. The previous reviews are also spot on. 10/10 Clean, Beautiful, Great Location, well equipped and maintained. I just wish I had gotten her recipe for the banana Macadamia nut muffins!Our host was excellent. Maria is a above and beyond host. I have booked many times on VRBO and I have never experienced the level of hospitality, kindness and generosity that I received from both Maria and her husband. I was traveling from across the country to have a medical procedure. The location of the property was close to my doctor’s and support staff and provided me with a beautiful relaxing tropical environment as I recovered. My nurse and physical therapist were in and out anywhere from 1 to 6 hours a day for four days. Maria was so accommodating and understanding. There was room in my apartment to accommodate my therapists massage table and equipment. Maria provided me with a walker, extra pillows and bolsters to ensure my comfort. (You plan events like this in advance, but you never know how or if your needs are going to change) As our departure day neared, we realized returning the rental vehicle and getting me to the airport might prove to be difficult. Maria stepped right in and drove me to the airport that day while my husband returned the car to the car rental area at the airport. This stay was nothing short of a true blessing. We are forever grateful and will plan to return.

Place to stay while visiting family

The suite was perfect! Close enough for us to come back and forth while visiting family. A dip in the pool was a nice break every afternoon. Maria was the perfect host! Will stay here again when visiting family.

Absolutely wonderful experience!

The house was very clean and comfortable, the pool and courtyard were perfect for our family time, and the home was conveniently located near shops and restaurants. Lovely, quiet and relaxing.

We enjoyed our stay and Maria thought of everything and is the most gracious host. Shared her homemade breakfast goodies and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The pool right off the bedroom was so perfect and it was great to enjoy each day. If we have a need to be in Wellington again, we will return to Maria of Spain!

We loved that Maria kept in contact with us the entire time. She made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The Maria of Spain property was quite, quaint, lush and serene. Maria had to leave the County to take care of a family member. Even with this emergency, she kept us on her mind, checking in frequently. We truly enjoyed our two night stay. Great Spot!

This was an accurately described, impeccably clean and comfortable place to stay during my recent trip to Wellington, FL It is incredibly close to where I need to be. It's easy to find as well. I would highly recommend this place for your next visit to this area. It has a nice clean pool although I didn't have time to take advantage of it. I'll be back!

Wonderful and Welcoming

This is a wonderful, clean little property with an amazing host. Maria is incredibly welcoming, providing everything needed but also allowing plenty of privacy. A great place to spend the Holidays... we will be back.

Super convenient

We chose Maria's place because of its location and were here for an Art show (2miles away)- everything was quite convenient. Maria has thought of every detail in the apartment and she is gracious and thoughtful. The main room is charming and the bathroom is spacious and well-lit. The pool looked inviting though we were too busy to take a dip. The bed was comfortable and the shower hot water is instant! We will be back.

Wellington Stay

Maria was a wonderful hostess for our 6 night stay in Wellington. We loved the studio - it had everything we needed and was exceptionally clean and comfortable. It's location at the center of Wellington was excellent and adjacent to horse-related activities. We walked each morning in the neighborhood and biked to the Wellington Preserve one evening. We highly recommend this property.

Great location and relaxing suite

I stayed in this guest suite for 2 nights early in December and it was very relaxing and clean. It has all of the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay and also is very close the the Palm Beach Equestrian center. I would definitely recommend this host to others ans would also stay here again!

I had a great stay and thoroughly enjoyed Maria and Tim. Great place for my dog as well. So convenient to WEF. Maria is a fantastic cook. For a few extra bucks I got some great meals, well worth it. I will be back for sure!
