Perfect for Weekend Getaway
Publié le 13 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe directions provided by the host were excellent, and needed since we lost service about 15 minutes out! It's a cute neighborhood, neighbors didn't bother us at all. Hikes required a bit of a drive, but the place itself was very clean, warm (wood burning stove!). Bring your own firewood or be prepared to go find it!

Nice cabin
Publié le 6 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayEnjoyed our stay. Cabin had more than enough room for us. Cabin was supplied with almost everything we needed. We forgot a lighter for the fire pit & grill & did not find one in cabin. There was a Dollar General store close which was convenient.

RRG cabin
Publié le 30 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayVery clean place and everything works good! Nice area with friendly neighbors great area to hangout in nature. There was a bad storm on Sunday afternoon where the power went out for a few hours and we decided to leave early in case the power was off until next day. Overall good experience and would recommend to others

Thanks for staying at the Cave Run Cabin. The weather wasn’t great throughout the entire region. I would like to offer a free night if you can come back to make up for the power going out. The great folks at the power company do a good job getting it turned back on in a timely manner in most cases. Send me a message if you ever want to stay again. Thank you.

Cabin near the lake
Publié le 14 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a good stay.The cabin was nice. We enjoyed the firepit. The location wasn't what I expected, a bit noisy with kids riding 4-wheelers.But it was ok. Could have just been temporary neighbors spending the weekend like us.
Overall it suited our purpose.

Publié le 8 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin is beautiful and in a lovely location. The screened-in porches were especially nice. It is not a 2-bedroom, however. That's explained in the description, but it really should be listed as a 1-bedroom property.

Thanks for staying! The previous owners used the current living area as a bedroom and the dining room as the living room. I since have converted it to add more living space. The downstairs living area, while open serves as a second private sleeping area away from the large upstairs loft.

Easy for lake stay

Stay at the cozy cabin
Publié le 19 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe stay was good, i only have two suggestions and that would be to have a fan or some kind of cooling source in the living room to help cool the down stairs a little quicker, second thing would be to clean a little better in the shower..Overall our stay was great there were lots of extra amenities thats definitely made the experience very at home like, we would definitely rent this cabin again

Thanks for the comments. The air conditioner in the kitchen as well as the ac in the loft do a great job of keeping the cabin cool. I’m curious if you didn’t use the ac downstairs?

Cave Run Lake Cabin
Publié le 16 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis cabin was perfect for our family. It was clean and cute. All of the beds were together on the second floor. It was one big open space and my husband and I were on one side and my kids were on a bunk bed on the opposite end. Which I liked a lot because I’m always worried about my kids in an unfamiliar place. I have no negative comments to leave only one small suggestion. There were only 2 small mirrors over the sinks in the bathrooms. Maybe a full size mirror somewhere in the cabin would be helpful. I know I’m not the only woman who likes to see her entire outfit before heading out. :)
We will be back.

Very friendly got back with me quickly super good to us! Home was very nice and clean! Love the location and neighborhood! Everything you would want in a little getaway, very nice screened in porch to relax on nice fire pit to sit at and have family time, close to the lake couldn’t ask for much more! My family really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend! Gets five stars from us!
