We wanted to take a moment to respond to this review. To begin, we do ask guests to bring linens for any stay. We ourselves have been traveling to Maine for the last 20 years. Before we purchased this home, we were completely acccustomed to bringing our own linens/towels on any vacation we had to Maine. We do not advertise on VRBO that we provide linens/towels and we state that these must be brought in every rental agreement that every guest signs. As mentioned, when our guests asked about the linens and explained the cross country nature of their visit, we were able to provide without charge. In terms of unit size, these are small vacation rental units. The pictures are exactly representative of the bedroom sizes. The TV does indeed work. The guests mentioned they could not get the cable to engage. A property manager visit was offered to help these folks navigate the Spectrum cable TV. This offer was not accepted. First time in 9 years of renting we heard about our bedroom lamps being to small to read with. The unit had a major renovation a short time ago with new flooring, completely renovated bathroom and granite countertops. We will inspect the freezer as this is the first comment we have had on that. We have a professional cleaning service that follows each guest stay and will follow up promptly on the bathroom shower complaint. I'm not sure what the neighbors toaster had to do with this guests stay. please bring shampoo and soap for your stay. We do when we stay at the house. We are exceedingly involved with our properties as evidence by the multitude of daily communication we had with our guest not understanding how to use our TV, providing linens and towels for them at no charge and sending a plumber for the hot water issue they reported in the shower (that the plumber concluded was the guests simply not turning the shower handle far enough for hot water). We sell out our units each and every summer and rarely encounter guests that complain about the neighbors toaster.

Appreciate the review and highlighting the convenient proximity "steps" to the beach. We do allow guests to use the on site washer and dryer as well. New mattresses were on order during this guests pre season stay and arrived June 1 2024.

Super glad to hear that our location “Spot” and beds were lovely and you had a beautiful time in Maine. We are temporarily having cars park alongside the house (which is actually closer to the unit). So plenty of parking until the dumpster across the street is removed.
