Beautiful, refined rustic mountain house

Great cabin for fall hiking
Publié le 22 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe photographs in the listing barely do justice to this place. And calling it a cabin is something of a understatement. It was very comfortable with a lot of light and very spacious. Well appointed with all the necessities. It was a great base for our weekend of hiking and I hope to come here again next year.
The property manager was helpful and responsive. Overall, we have no complaints but only compliments.

Since we have family in the area we will use this vrbo property again.

Unique, spacious
Publié le 18 août 2024 sur HomeAwayCharacteristics of this home were nice. We certainly appreciated the architectural elements throughout. We did arrive a half hour early and the house was still being cleaned, which was not a problem. We entered the home and there was a bit of a musty smell, but the area did have a lot of rain prior to our arrival so this may be understandable. Cleanliness of the house was generally OK. There were things that were noticeable, but we dealt with it. Major problem with flies everywhere. Not sure if this was due to excessive rains or what. The location of this property is convenient to Pine Gorge, and the town of Wellsboro. This would be very beautiful in the fall.

Perfect Family Getaway

We were especially pleased with the spacious kitchen and dining area which proved to be perfect for meals with our extended family. The outdoor fireplace was a favorite evening gathering place! Highly recommend!!!

Three day ski vacation-cation
Publié le 27 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWent for a long weekend to the Wellsboro area for a day of skiing, and to visit the PA Grand Canyon. This house is ideal. It is very close to town yet outside of the main area so you feel secluded.
It has a rustic vibe but all the modern amenities and has the hottest and best water I have ever had a shower in! Huge well-stocked kitchen, and we made lots of food during our stay
We had marshmallows on the fireplace on the side deck, which was lovely and plenty of seating….
We will definitely come back and rent this house again we had a great time!
