Loved the geese in the early morning with the mist rising off the creek. Could not have asked for anything better. Inviting warm and cozy but just the right amount of space to be very comfortable.

The best layover

My husband and I travel annually up to the Northeast and decided to layover this year at the lodge and take in the Grand Canyon. We were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. Very clean and comfortable. The staff was very kind, polite, and saw that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Will be sure to return.

Family stay with the doggy too!

We stayed in the luxury suite #5 in the Lodge and found everything we needed. Nice space, 2 bedrooms, and wood available for $5 per bundle for the fire pit. The road noise had us keep the windows closed while sleeping, and the water level in early July was about right for skipping rocks, but not much swimming, but we loved hiking the gorge, seeing waterfalls, visited Wellsboro, and relaxed with the lightening bugs while eating s'mores. We will be back for biking and fall colors next time :)

We were amazed at how clean the unit was. After a sweltering day, it was very hot even with the windows open. We discovered that the electric fireplace had the pilot light on and was putting out a lot of heat. I think linens and towels should be included for the price. Fairly quiet.

Susan, Thanks for staying at Rough Cut Lodge and pointing out how clean the rental is. My staff does an amazing job keeping every rental we manage spotless which is very high on our priority list. The fireplaces are gas not electric and we do leave the pilots on year round. The minute we turn them off then someone wants a fire since we advertise gas fireplaces. This weekend was unusually hot before Memorial weekend with 90 degrees. Good thing we have AC units for help cool it down. Please come again and share your delightful experience with family and friends.

Nothing rough about it!

Glamping at its best! The suite we stayed in was very comfortable, LOVE the full, well-equipped kitchen. We forgot one of our two canoe paddles and they leant us theirs. Close to the PA Grand Canyon and super cute Wellsboro. Will definitely come back!

Accommodations were impeccably clean and the grounds were amazing. We wish we could have stayed longer. Kids loved exploring the lodge grounds.

this suite was the perfect place for my three friends and I. beautiful location! cleanliness was beyond expectations! it was amazing! worth every penny, we had a blast!

Mom daughter getaway

The property was spotless, comfortable & so convenient. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our breakfasts & supper. We were at a convenient location to do our running around during the day. Only regret was that it was a little chilly to enjoy the front porch & benches by the creek.

Clean, comfortable and cozy. The full kitchen is very nice. Don't miss the operatunity to enjoy a morning on one of the benches by the river! It's quite peaceful despite its proximity to the road.
