This is an older Hilton. It was clean and our room was nice. We had a good view of the beach. It is close to the beach which we walked to every day.
The breakfast buffet was really good. A great assortment of food. We did eat the dinner buffet and it had a good assortment of food.
Only surprise was having to pay 2000 RMB (about $307 deposit when we checked in). We were not expecting that. We received it when we checked out. We had already paid for the room through Expedia.
We still are not sure why there was a deposit. There was no refrigerator in the room. So why a deposit.
Other than that it was a nice getaway for us.

This is a very nice property. The room was very comfortable and had a nice sea view. I think almost all of the rooms have a sea view. The breakfast was good. The location is beautiful, the local beach is ver nice to walk. A perfect choice if you want to disconnect and relax.

酒店服务很不错，住宿期间生病，酒店经理紧急协调安排车子去卫生院，并熬了白粥送到房间，晚餐也重新熬粥送房间，楼层保洁阿姨也总在关心个人身体状况，并帮忙送了果盘

Best Hotel EVER!

Very quiet and relaxing..Hilton Wenchang has set a standard for all other hotels.. and I’ve been to a lot of cities in the US and overseas.. can’t wait to go back!

Great place for beach and sea lovers and those who like quiet place. Not a recommended place for those who love shopping, it is far far area from shopping districts
