Best Rental we've ever been in.....
Publié le 22 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is probably the best rental we have ever stayed in. It was clean, the beds were super comfortable, the showers were hot and everything is updated. There are so many tired places in Grand Cayman - this is not one of them.
This place is WELL stocked. I have never stayed in a rental that had shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry soap. dishwasher soap and paper towels and toilet paper. There are tons of beach towels a nice beach cooler and space for the whole family.
Appliances are high end. I ran the dishwasher and washer and dryer daily as we had beach towels and breakfast dishes for our family of 5.
The host has great communication. We had a slight issue one night where a smoke detector battery died - it was no ones fault - it happens. The host responded quickly and sent over a handyman to handle the issue expediently with a small token for us too. Very happy. The check out list is unlike any rental in the USA. It literally was "make sure the doors are locked" I've had check out lists before that are 25 items long. It was a true vacation.
The pool is small, the few times we wanted to use it, it was empty & lovely. The walk to the beach is super easy. Our older teens could come and go as they pleased. We loved having a rental car and dedicated parking. Driving on the left takes some practice.The supermarket was close and clutch.
Loved the restaurants in West Bay,. This place has everything but a view, definitely a must stay in Grand Cayman.

Great vacation
Publié le 29 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat place to stay in West Bay. Cemetery Beach is just minutes away, another short walk to a West Bay beach, and grocery store is very near. It’s just a short drive to a number of restaurants.

Christmas Cayman Family Vacation
Publié le 30 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis property was perfect for my group of 5. Easy access to a gorgeous beach. Steps from the pool. Very comfortable. Fosters Republix and Bayside are a half block away. We never rented a car - we used public bus. I would stay here again. Dennis does an amazing job. Read the guide when you get there and don't forget to say good morning and good night to everyone- be as friendly as all these people on the island are!

West Bay Value

The condo development is a bit dense, but the end location of this unit affords some extra outdoor space. Short walk to the beach. Very close to Cemetery Beach, one of the best snorkeling beaches along Seven Mile Beach. Groceries and dining within walking distance.

Cayman for New Years
Publié le 4 janv. 2023 sur HomeAwayStayed here last week for 6 nights. Location was just as described. My wife and I and our two teens (14,16) had plenty of space. The condo was well stocked with everything you need. Short walk to beach. Owner extremely receptive and helpful. Would stay here again.

Beach access
Publié le 12 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayI thought the ocean/ beach would be closer. Needed to walk by a busy street to get to a public beach or along a trail that wasn’t kept up very well & on a residential road. We did not drive to the beaches.
Everything else was very nice!

The property and its location relative to the beach are described in detail in the listing and other guests write in their reviews that they find the description to be very accurate. We are the second line of properties behind beachfront villas, which means that you get beach experience at a price that is substantially lower than at beachfront properties (with an added benefit of the property being very quiet and light sleepers not being disturbed by the never ending wave noise). Two paths lead to the beach, one that takes you along the main road withOUT the need to cross it, this path uses a generous shoulder that does not interact with traffic and is well maintained by the property owners (about 180 yards or 2 minutes to the beach). The second path is through a private fenced footpath which is well maintained by adjacent property owners and it is about 80 steps to the beach. None of our 100+ guests since 2016 (including elderly and guests with small children) indicated ever having any problems navigating either of these paths. Marcia failed to find the best suited path using detailed instructions in the home book and did not ask any questions or raise any concerns with me during, before, or after her stay. When I checked to see how they were doing, the feedback was “everything is great!”. “Public beach” comment is not applicable because all beaches in Cayman are public by law. I take pride in the quality of my listing and I am proactive in looking after my guests - for example, Marcia’s group was invited to check in as early as they flew in. Unfortunately, some people are impossible to please and had I been able to perform anywhere close to the same level of due diligence about Marcia as she enjoyed before booking our property, I would have politely declined the reservation request.

nice, clean and easy
Publié le 26 juin 2022 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay at Beach Lane. Close to the Fosters in West Bay, fairly easy to get to the beach. The kids enjoyed the paddle board. Overall it was an easy trip. Dennis was quick to respond when we had questions and his welcome book was also helpful.

Great property in a perfect location
