What an unfortunate review Daniel has taken the time to submit. It’s also inaccurate and misleading. And such a shame I didn’t realize this shamefully low rating existed until very recently. That’s clearly my mistake for not paying closer attention. On the other hand, Daniel needs to consider their actions during their stay to evaluate if the content posted in their review is appropriate (It is not). If Daniel had communicated any of the issues from their later review during their stay, we would have done everything possible to remedy any deficiency. This opportunity was lost when Daniel decided to wait until 8pm the night before they left at 10am to communicate the issues they perceived or encountered during their stay. In fact, Daniel just kicked the can down the road and it was really the next rental group that brought the actual issues to our attention immediately and we were able to get them fixed quickly. That rental group who alerted us to the low water pressure left a 5 star review because they loved the property and because we were responsive when they informed us that something was wrong. In just the past couple of years we have received seven 5 star reviews and one 4 star review on this platform. It appears Daniel’s 2 star review is simply out of place. The most important inaccuracy from Daniel’s review and certainly the most important - in more than 10 years there has NEVER been mould at this property. The owners are highly allergic to mould and would never be able to sleep in this house if mould existed. There is however Efflorescence in the basement. It’s basically salt crystals. Look it up. Learn something. The owners had someone who is qualified to diagnose what IS and what IS NOT mould. And he determined it is not mold and explained to us what it is and that it is harmless.
