Nice apartment at great location (just a few feet from ski trail). The only suggestion would be to upgrade from RE lockbox holding the entry key to a digital door lock.

Renter beware, do not rent from them no local support, not clean
Renter beware. The place was not cleaned properly and very dated. We checked in, immediately see the floors were dirty as there were (crumbs, debris, etc on the floors). Found a vacuum started to clean the floors, but it doesn't work properly. So I contacted Vacasa to see if someone can come and clean the floors. But you need to go through the HO of Vacasa and they notify the local support. Also noticed only 1 parking pass, should be 2 passes. About to go to bed and the sheets were not changed, it was covered in all types of hairs OMG. I texted Vacasa about it, please send someone with clean sheets. I also had to send photos. So ridiculous just send me CLEAN SHEETS. HO said they will notified the local support again. We slept on top of the duvet covers and covered the pillow with clean towels that night as nobody came. This is UNACCEPTABLE. On top of that the deadbolt to the front door did not work. I follow-up the next morning. HO apologized and notify local support to come clean and change sheets while we go skiing. Ofcourse we got back from skiing, nothing has been done, nobody from local support contacted us. I followed up again to HO. They were apologetic and will call support directly. Local support told them in the meantime we can wash the sheets in the small washer/dryer that is in the unit. Are you serious, I don't have time, no detergent and the amount of hairs on it doubt it will be clean. Its UNACCEPTABLE. I just want clean sheets, forget about the other issues.

Needs updates
A simple lock upgrade on the door and ski locker would make a huge difference. Old and finicky lock boxes attached to the dented doorknobs. Ski in/out was awesome. Pool was rowdy and “owners only” hot tubs and lounge seemed unnecessarily elitist. Kindling, paper, and matches would have been very useful to go with the limit-less wood.

Overall property was fine but there were a few things we were unhappy with. The WiFi is completely outdated and ridiculous that it has not been upgraded. Same goes for the TV. The coffee maker did not work - disappointing for coffee drinkers. No wine glasses. Simple fixes that any renter would expect.

Convenient and Clean - Owner does a nice job
I write long reviews, so if you want detail here it is - First off, this unit was extremely clean. I was traveling with my two young children without my wife, she packed a ridiculous amount of Clorox wipes however there was no need to wipe everything down. The kitchen is great, full sized and very well stocked with plates, pans etc. The appliances are very good condition and everything worked well. There is a small condo size stacked washer and dryer in a closet off the kitchen; this worked out great as I was able to dry the kids ski gear. The king sized bed in the bedroom is comfortable, the carpet was clean. The second bed is a pull out sofa sleeper and was about normal for a sofa bed. (I slept on it). There is a stand up ski locker immediately in front of the building to store your skis, this was really nice. Also, a really nice amenity is the fireplace and the supply of wood in the shed outside the building. This was a very relaxing feature and my kids enjoyed having the fire lit in the evening. The internet is DSL and speed tested at ~10Mbps. The wifi coverage was good and I was able to work remote. I would definitely stay here again. There were a few things that could use improvement, none of them major as I feel this owner does a nice job over all - The key lock boxes are terrible, as in 1980s mechanical tech with really small numbers and pins. The key with its ring barely fits inside and it's quite a struggle to get it in and out. The second key was missing upon our arrival and I eventually assumed it was in the jammed key lock box on the ski locker. VACASA failed to respond to the inquiry which I found a bit frustrating as I was traveling alone with two young children and really didn't want to risk getting locked out. The Listing accuracy itself - the condo COMMUNITY is ski-in/ski-out, not this particular building. To get to the trail from this unit you need to cross the parking area on foot and walk to either end of the opposing building. The closest side has a steep staircase which was completed covered in packed snow and difficult to traverse, the other side is about a 60 yard walk uphill and then through snow to get to where you can put on your skis and zip down to the trails. The reason I mention this is because if you have young kids, don't expect to ski away from the front door like the some units, you'll still be hauling gear and herding little humans; there is some traffic through the complex.

Disappointing
This condo needs some serious updating. I never leave bad reviews but feel compelled to on this one. No internet or TV service, I am not concerned with internet or TV on vacation but not having the internet made it difficult to get messages and phone calls as the cell service is not good at Mount Snow. Couldn’t even get amenity passes for the recreation center beca You have to reserve a spot on an app. Also, no instructions about this in the unit so we were surprised when we tried to take the kids to the indoor pool. I called and messaged Vacasa to have it fixed and couldn’t get anyone on the phone. I finally got someone via the chat service and they told me that a local Vacasa employee would call me. 4 days went by with no contact from Vacasa. I followed up several times. Nothing from Vacasa or the owner. The unit also had a significant amount of wood fire smoke presumably coming up from the unit below it which made it hard to breathe. If I was the owner of this unit I would be firing Vacasa and making some much needed upgrades and repairs so that people would be interested in renting the unit again. I will never rent this unit again. If it wasn’t a ski in/ski out condo it wouldn’t be getting rented.
