Nice but ...
Publié le 12 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was a nice property and met our family reunion needs. The listing did not indicate that we needed to bring our own soap for bathrooms.
More signage needed -re:light switches especially for front outside, also where to put trash and recycling.
Only one refrigerator for that many people was not enough.
Pool was nice but VERY HARSH chemicals. We all ended up with rashes.

We actually usually provide soaps, we do view it as an extra, not as a necessity. Although some people use hotel soaps (or take them home as a souvenir), an extremely minute portion of population actually rely on them, very the moreso at private home short term rentals.
Regarding signage and garbage, we have outstanding onsite personnel who deal with these issues. We've never had such a complaint in the past.
Regarding pool, it's a brand new pool with most updated systems and treatment. Sorry about rashes but it's doubtful its from the pool treatment.
All in all, if these were your issues and all the real items were good - cleanliness, amenities etc - that's a 4.9 start review. That's excellent!

Needs help

1. There is no welcome book to explain how anything works …..nothing
2. House was not very clean…we found an old half eaten blueberry muffin under the sink in one bathroom …2 rotted limes in the kitchen….a spare pillow had blood on it .
3. There were no spare blankets in the entire house. We called housekeeping and they did bring them the next day. We found several spare pillows, but no pillowcases. It took several of us along time to even locate the towels. Everybody got only one towel. Some towels were in a dresser, somewhere in a closet somewhere in the dresser drawers under the bed. It was like a scavenger hunt to find your towels.
3. They were missing off the front of the stove, exposing all of the wires.
4. we had the maintenance people there to help us with the hot tub and did we get to use the indoor hot tub because we couldn’t get over 80°
5. The landscaping is a mess there’s grass growing all over the tennis court. The flowerbeds are just beds of weeds and rock no flowers in them.
I traveled with a church group of 15 women. We were all very disappointed in the home …. We had a good time because we were together, but we would never book this house again.
Ryan maintenance guy was extremely helpful. He came over and helped us set up wood for the fire pit. He was fabulous.
This needs a lot of help ….. it is and there are a lot of bedrooms and every bedroom has a bathroom so that was definitely a plus

Since your visit, we’ve made several improvements: we now provide a comprehensive guidebook with all the information you need, our cleaning standards have been reinforced, and the towel and linen setup has been reorganized for easy access. The stove and hot tub have also been repaired. We’ve addressed the landscaping concerns as well, although it may not be fully visible now since it's December.
We're so glad you and your group were still able to enjoy your time together despite these issues. It would mean a lot to us if you gave us another chance in the future to provide the experience you deserve. Thank you again for your helpful comments, and we hope to welcome you back one day!

Great House

We spent many hours in the indoor pool and the 2 jacuzzi’s we will definitely stay there again

Big house - great location!
Publié le 10 mars 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a large crew and this house had plenty of room for all. Large table and lots of room to hang out. The location to the mountain is great- so close! You can walk through the snow to a restaurant. Unfortunately, the new pool was not ready yet, but it looks like it will be gorgeous and we would come back again.

Massive House Close to Mt Snow
Publié le 23 févr. 2022 sur HomeAwayThis house is huge, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate a large group of 15+. It's also a very short drive to the base of Mt. Snow, so for a big ski weekend it checks every box.
As the owners acknowledge, the house does need renovations, which you can tell are underway. The house is in better shape than the pictures, but with the updates this place will be everything you need for a big ski trip.

Online description ~ vague at best. Floor plans weren’t accurate for room assignments as required by family size. Kitchen lacking the essentials & not enough for all 21 of us. Glad we bought disposable hot & cold cups.
Light switches & outlets ~ Never saw so many that do nothing or not what you’d expect by proximity. No info. provided (instructions for hot tub, sauna, location of firewood, extra blankets) ~ the house became a scavenger hunt.
The property Managment team were awesome! They Responded promptly, regardless of the time & arrived on site quickly when needed.
We are planning to return next year.

Big house, big promises, no delivery

Tennis court is more of a lawn that you can’t use , no hot water, late check in due to sewage leak, can’t play shuffle board as it’s completely broken, some of the furniture pictured doesnt exist. Cleaning people were awesome, but owner is clearly an immoral con artist. This house is like buying a large wynnebego with all the features and then you receive an old schoolbus with no seats that’s doesn’t run

Sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your stay and that your expectations weren't met.
As we're open to constructive criticism, please be open to legitimate responses. Any guest house with guests coming and going is prone to certain damages - totally independently of owner and manager. The day you arrived a group had left and we learned that they clogged the sewer system by flushing non flushable waste down the toilets. We immediately ordered a professional company to unclog system. Obviously, this caused a delay in preparing house for your group. This can happen in the Hilton too. It's not in anyone's hands to eliminate such scenarios. It is in our hands to deal with it in a timely and professional fashion - which is what we did. While the sewer was clogged the hot water system couldn't work. As soon as sewer system got back to working order, the hot water was back up too. To imply in your message that there "was no hot water" may be a dishonesty on your part (did someone mention morality?) Neither did you find it important to mention that for the 3 hour delay, we put you into another house where you were able to put down your luggage and get your bearings while house was made ready.
As far as tennis court and shuffle game in concerned, we recently took over management of these houses which were severely neglected over past two years. We've spent enormous amounts of resources to improve them on many levels and they've come a very long way. Ideally, we should've kept them vacant for few months while work was being done. Out of decency and consideration of bookings that had been made long in advance, we made the effort and chose the hard way of doing work in between coming and going of guests. This is a tremendous undertaking and made things very much more difficult and complicated. Obviously this comes with hitches. To date, some improvements have not yet been done but we are past the bulk of things. We're sorry and apologetic to those who feel they didn't receive the product they expected. The majority of our guests were very satisfied and understanding.
Like you mentioned we have a phenomenal staff of housekeepers and maintenance personnel who are extremely devoted to making guests happy. This is the key to success.

Awesome house!
