Great Location, but needs some upkeep.
Publié le 26 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayFor starters, I am not sure who is at fault for the cons between the owners and the Evolve managers. Overall I had a great vacation and a lovely time at the home. It was a great place for two people. Had the cons not been a factor I would definitely stay again! The cons are not meant to be rude, but just some critiques.
Pros:
-Great communication anytime I had a question
-Loved the concept of the house
-Great Location
-Affordable
-Gas appliances
-Easy check-in/check-out instructions
-Fire pit with picnic table
Cons:
-Was given inaccurate check-in instructions so had to call the contact number at 11 PM for the correct door code.
-Dirty (Upon arrival we found a lot of dead bugs on the kitchen floor, I killed multiple spiders in the kitchen sink and window area. There were also spiderwebs in the corners of the shower and bedroom, and there was dog hair/dirt on the bedspread and sheets before our dog was even upstairs.
-No A/C (a big deal in the summer because the ceiling fan does not help cool down the house.) A spare box fan was upstairs for us to use, but still did not do much, and cooking with a gas oven made it even hotter.
-The yard was overgrown and made walking the dog around the property at night and early morning very difficult, in addition, the dog kennel on the property looked unsanitary.
-Had no hot water the first night, wasn't aware the water heater had been turned off and had to locate it.
-The fire pit was not very useful due to the overgrown weeds.

Great house, great location.
Publié le 13 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayVery cool house, in a great neighborhood, 10 minute walk to the river. It was perfect for 2 people and a dog. Only negative is that there is no AC. A small window unit could cool the whole house. Other than that no complaints.
