Terrific beach!
Publié le 19 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house is lovely and functional. It was super clean!! A disappointment was that the tram from the garage to the house was not working when we checked in. There are a total of 174 stair steps from the house to the beach and the stairs from the garage to the house do not have a hand rail. The grill also was out of commission - disappointing because that is one of the features we especially look for when selecting a property. The beach is great - sandy and lots of it.

Beautiful view and very clean

The management company was responsive and helpful with all of our questions - the group before us had left the Murphy beds broken and the dryers weren’t working well. They sent someone to fix the beds and he also oiled squeaky doors and changed light bulbs on our first day. The beach was beautiful and came with a lot of wonderful beach amenities not listed and there is a ping pong table and bikes in the garage. All the beds were super comfortable as well! The kitchen was well stocked for a large group and there was comfy seating in the living room. The 70+ stairs to the beach were doable but you have to be pretty healthy. My in-laws took it very slow. The tram to the house worked well once we figured out how to open the garage. I suggested a label for that button. Overall an amazing stay. We were all super thankful.

Long Weekend Trip With Friends and Their Families
Publié le 22 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayThere was 16 of us and we had plenty of room to stretch out. Everything we needed was available in the beautiful, clean house. We had an issue with the tram working but they came and fixed right away. Communication was great and they kept in contact to make sure there were no more issues. The beach was beautiful too!

Great place for all ages
Publié le 23 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayAbout 150 feet above a private lake Michigan beach. There is a shelf of shallow water that extends 30-40 feet from the shore, which makes it perfect for little kids.
The interior of the home has extremely high build quality with wood molding over doors, a solid deck, and hardwood floors. There are not steps leading from the road to the house, which is about 75 feet higher than the road. Instead, you take a tram from the garage to the house above
It's a great destination for all ages.
