Avis NEW: "Magnolia Bungalow"4/2 with Pool!

I understand the risk of not being taken seriously when leaving an unfavorable review like this. But for anybody that has a young family like mine, I’m willing to take that risk so that they may avoid the situation we ran into. I was attending a business conference in West Palm Beach and thought it would be fun to bring my young family to spend a week near the beach while I was working (wife, four kids under 7, and my mother-in-law). But after one night in this home, I had to scramble to find my family another place to stay because it was so unreasonable to keep them in there. I’ll just list the reasons for you why: * The house was in a visibly unsafe part of town… 20min from the beach. * There were animal feces right around the perimeter of the pool. * The house reeked of mold and mildew. * The bunkbed room (clearly a room for kids) had a back door to the pool with locks that wouldn’t work. * The shower had a window into the laundry room that wouldn’t shut (total lack of privacy). * The fan/light in the master bedroom wouldn’t work (extremely hot at night). * The bed comforters were unclean (felt like a Motel 6). And when I asked for a partial refund for the nights that we didn’t stay, being willing to pay for the first night and for the cleaning fee, the host didn’t answer me for days. It seemed like he was purposefully ignoring my messages. Rent at your own risk.

This was a very nice house. It was very clean and the house was a good size. Very nice living room dining area and kitchen. The bedrooms were a good size and the bed in the principal bedroom was quite comfortable. We didn’t use the other beds. The pool was fairly large but unfortunately it was a little cool to swim in. The backyard was very nice and very private. The BBQ was very nice. Also the area was very quiet which was nice and close to grocery stores restaurants and beaches. The house was as is shown in the pictures. Gus was very good with communication. Would definitely stay there again

My friends and I rented this property for a weekend Bachelorette get away and it was perfect! The home was clean, plenty of space for our group, plenty of beach towels and bathing towels, and a gorgeous private back yard. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook at home, the only thing missing was a chefs knife. 20/10 would definitely recommend this property!

The property itself was nice. Is listed as 4 bedroom but you have to walk thru one bedroom to get to the other and there is no door separating the two so keep that in mind when planning. I had requested to shorten our stay by one day and was told I would get a full refund for that day but in the end only got about 63%. We also saw a roach but I know in Tropical climates that can be an issue.

The house was very spacious and clean. The kitchen was well stocked so we were able to cook. Lounging by the pool was one of our favorite activities during our visit. Overall- one of my favorite rentals ever!

Booked this house for my birthday with friends for 2 days. The host was nice and even provided suggestions for local activities and eateries. Overall, the time spent in the home was nice. The living room and dining areas are both spacious. There are 4 beds but if you're staying with adults be aware there's 2 rooms that connect to each other without a door to seperate the rooms. The master bedroom has a tv but the other rooms don't. The beds were also really comfortable. The bathrooms were smaller than expected but they served their purpose. Unfortunately we were greeted by a roach in one of the bathrooms and had no bug spray to kill it. Thankfully we had a man in the house that wasn't afraid of bugs. The pool was nice and had plenty of places to lounge near it. One thing that was a surprise was the types of windows that the house had (louver windows). If you're a light sleeper, this could be an issue because sound comes right in with no filter. But overall the neighborhood is quiet at night so it's tolerable. The aesthetic of the house is beautiful. There's also plenty of towels & extra sheets, some toiletries (in case you forget shampoo or body wash) and a coffee machine with k-cups. Another bonus was having 2 fridges which is awesome if you have a group of foodies. Not bad for a mini vacation and my first try with vrbo.
