Overnight travel stop
We thought everything was fine, GOOD evening chocolate chip cookies, good breakfast, clean, comfortable room. The only negative thing I can think of is the shower curtain rod in our bathroom was sagging some because the wall anchors weren’t holding tightly. The curtain worked fine but maintenance needed to fix that.

Reservations for Friday and Saturday night. When returning to hotel on Saturday night, room key does not work and have to go back downstairs to get key reprogrammed. Sunday morning I go down for breakfast which was fair at best. After breakfast, I go back upstairs and room key does not work again. Back downstairs I go to get key just to get back into my room. Nothing more frustrating than your room key not working during your entire stay.

Mini Vacation
My first impression of the hotel was that it was decorated for the holiday's. I have reserved a room with a king size bed but the gentleman working offered me a room with 2 queen cause the only kings they had left were upstairs and they didn't have an elevator. I really appreciated that cause I really didn't want to climb stairs. The room was very clean and comfortable. The gentleman behind the desk gave directions to were I could get something to eat and there was several close.

First the remote only operated the dish receiver so i couldn't turn on tv or adjust volume with remote so had to constantly get up to change volume and to turn off tv for bed. When i checked in they didnt tell me anything about the amenities, like was there a gym was pool or hot tub open i really wanted to use the gym and hottub but no info on it just heres your key. The shower had this loud squeel the entire time showering.

Not what we expected
Beds were very comfortable. Found baby roaches (dead) inside the mini fridge and live baby roaches in the bathroom sink. At breakfast all hot food was was gone at 9am, had hard biscuits and a few cold scrambled eggs. No waffle batter left either. Very disappointing. Pool looked dirty. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
