A wonderful getaway

The Photos Don't Do It Justice...
Publié le 19 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayAfter seeing the photos and reading the description, my wife and I decided to stay at the Fox Den for our anniversary. We arrived and not only did the beautiful cabin in the woods live up to the description, it is even more beautiful inside than the photos are able to show. Such amazing craftsmanship and care has been put into this place that it honestly is amazing that the owner lets anyone stay here. We have been disanointed with VRBO rentals in the past, but this cabin was pure perfection.
Speaking of the owner, Frank was absolutely amazing every step of the way. We did not have any issues while we were there, but asking for local recommendations and a few other communications prior to our trip he was very quick to respond and help out in any way that he could.
Our nights were spent sitting out back at the fire pit (fire wood provided!), sipping a glass of wine, and relaxing with not another person in sight.
I honestly can't say enough about the Fox Den, or the owner, but I believe that my wife and I may have just found our yearly anniversary retreat. Thanks, Frank!

Great Weekend Getaway
Publié le 22 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe booked the cabin for an anniversary weekend to basically do nothing. It was a great time of lounging. Very clean and organized. Everything you need is there. We enjoyed sitting by the fire at night.
One note… there is not internet/ WiFi. That’s just the way it is in the area, but I did bring my Apple TV and just ran it off my phone.

Cute and small cabin

They gave us a bottle of wine as a gift, but we don't drink wine so we left it.
Would've loved to have a washer/dryer on site, we stayed for 6 days and had to go to do laundry on day 4.

If it gets too popular, it'll be hard to book again - and we're definitely booking again! Great location, clean, well-outfitted, QUIET and just simply delightful. When you're ready to relax, unwind and unplug, this is your sweet spot.
