The location was beautiful . The beds in the bedrooms were not comfortable and sofa bed sank on one side .None the drawers in the bed room worked properly. hangers in the bedroom were difficult to use. The trash could be taken out by the cleaning crew instead of us having to drive back and forth with the key to the trash can.

We had a memorable vacation at Sandhill East Home. Could see Bison, Foxes in the backyard. Close to west yellowstone entrance which made our commute to National park very easy. Definitely will come back and stay here and recommend this property to our friends & families. Marta - Property incharge was reachable if needed though we didn't need it as everything was well organized.

Overall very peaceful and quiet. Much needed after being in West Yellowstone. If you need a/c, this is not the place for you. If you don’t mind then it is very clean and has everything you need including bug spray for the mosquitos! (Thank you!) Very peaceful overall and we would recommend.

Everything was great. Rides throughout the national park are inevitably long but the house was great, clean and comfortable. And the neighbor has the sweetest Newfoundland puppy which is basically like cuddling a domesticated bear!!

The home was perfect for my husband , daughter and her husband. The bison travelled through the yard in mornings and evenings with their calves as a bonus nature feature. It was home base for four nights to see all the Yellowstone features and horseback riding in Gallatin Forest.

2 Days for Yellowstone
We stayed at this property two nights. It was a nice place close to Yellowstone, but out far enough that we felt very secluded. I believe it would be a great place for a longer stay as well. My only complaint was in the parking area, had divots that when it rained like we had puddles collected and made it difficult getting in and out of the car, but this was only a minor inconvenience and not enough to ruin a wonderful cabin adventure. I loved that we could see the lake from this property.

This was overpriced for what you get. We have recent stays nearby in Driggs and St. Anthony that were much better for less money. This place was very outdated. Ceiling fans wobbled a ton of on over low, and you need fans on in the summer because no AC. Very little cookware. Bathroom was the only updated room. Popcorn ceilings.

Great stay!
This place was perfect for us! Saw bison all around property with their babies! Also, saw a fox frequently near the VRBO and elk and mule deer on the road into the development. The place was a great setup, clean, everything you need, including heat for chilly nites, and windows that open to provide great cross breezes for the fresh air. Also, supplied foam coolers and 2 non expired bear sprays, which we did not have to use. Thhis was our second time staying at this exact VRBO.

The Best!
We were so impressed with the property. It is close to West Yellowstone and the park entrance, but tucked away about 5-10 minutes, so it is quiet and so peaceful. There were bison roaming our area and we loved watching them right in our back yard! There was also a fox with kits that my kids loved watching and photographing. West Yellowstone has all the conveniences you need for the park visit, like groceries/gas/etc. We won’t stay anywhere else with our next visit.

Ups and Downs
This was a quiet private neighborhood and the rental agent was very quick to respond. After a swift refund from the owner, VRBO withheld tax after a day’s rental was canceled and refunded. It was only through my time consuming efforts that the tax was refunded. The kitchen was one of the most poorly stocked kitchens I have ever stayed in. Everything in the kitchen aside from cups and plates was time worn and low quality. The time worn, poor quality bedding and towels need to be replaced. There was a stain on the (uncomfortable) mattress pad and the sheets had some kind of coating and smelled of fragrance, body oils, and I had to wash and dry the pillows and cases as they smelled of body oils from constant use. The laundry room was great. Missing light bulbs in carport. The coffee maker would not work but was quickly replaced the next day with a dirty old machine that had to be washed and cleaned before using. These are basic things that should be addressed. The rental was expensive for what you got. But with some easy upgrades it would be great.
