Publié le 31 août 2024 sur HomeAwayVery quiet neighborhood, nearest neighbors about a quarter of a mile. Incredibly dark skies. Very clean inside. Wild turkey came right up to the front porch. If you like exploring around, check out Beddows Mountain 6/10 of a mile hike up behind the property. Beware of property lines though. If you go straight west and do not cross nearby property it's all good.

Such a wonderful retreat!

Beautiful cabin in the woods!

The owner was very thoughtful in all the amenities and very responsive to any questions we had. The property is beautiful as well. We had a great time there and would definitely like to stay there again. There were a couple of mice caught in the traps, but that’s what you get with a cabin in the woods. It did not affect our impression of the cabin at all. If it wasn’t for the traps I don’t think we would have even known mice were there. Overall, fantastic trip.

The kitchen is nicely stocked, the beds are so comfy, and everything was perfect. As we were packing the car to leave we saw some wild turkey walking by. And the star gazing was phenomenal!! I cannot say enough good things. We loved every minute of our stay! Thank you so much!!

Lovely Mountain Cabin
Publié le 9 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay immensely. It does look like the property has a small issue with rodents as there were droppings in several places including on the kitchen counters. We cleaned all of that right up and it didn't otherwise bother us. Spectacular evening skies.

I’m sorry to hear about the mouse problem. I have sonic gadgets throughout the cabin along with sticky traps but it is getting colder and they can still be a little pesky. Glad you enjoyed your stay otherwise.

Cabin with a view!
Publié le 24 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayCabin was a very comfortable place to stay. Loved the views from the balcony and front porch. The living room and kitchen had good space, decorated to country comfort. Best mattress we've slept on in quite some time. Left feeling completely rested even though we did a lot of hiking and walking while visiting. Highly recommend cabin!
