Magical Cabin in the Sangres
Publié le 15 août 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was a delightful, quiet escape in the mountains. The cabin has everything. We enjoyed hiking just outside the door. Sitting on the deck, we were buzzed by humming birds, and watched dozens of wild turkeys in the meadows. It is a comfortable space to relax. We were able to view the Perseids meteor shower in the night sky. Great place for a peaceful retreat !

Wonderful stay
Publié le 29 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin was very nice and in a quiet secluded setting. We hung our hummingbird feeder on the deck and enjoyed them every morning while drinking coffee. We saw deer, grouse, and rabbits as well. We had a family game night with one of the many games at the cabin. We enjoyed some jeep trails ( 2 within 15 min), white water rafting at Texas Creek ( 30 min away), and did some shopping in Salida and Westcliffe. Salida was a little over an hour at this time due to road construction. The cabin had everything we needed. We would defiinitely say there again.

Exactly what we were looking for
Publié le 24 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwaySuch a wonderful property! The setting was quiet and private, yet still close to town, which was worth a visit of its own. Having direct access to trailheads was so convenient and the house had everything we needed. Would stay here again!
