Publié le 13 juill. 2019 sur HomeAwayHad a wonderful stay, Elizabeth is a fantastic hostess, chef, conversationalist and all around humanitarian. Loved all the extra touches you don't get in a hotel, hot tea, organic apples, exquisite soaps, fine books and chimes from antique clocks. I would highly recommend Elizabeth's Tavern to anyone who is looking to experience an immersive "colonial feel" with all the comforts of modern day living.

Seguramente volveremos a esta finca antigua y llena de ojetos interesantes, telas preciosas y tanta historia. La afitriona ha sido muy amable y no preparó un desayuno perfecto de ingredientes locales sanos y deliciosos.

We enjoyed Fletcher Tavern
Publié le 22 juin 2019 sur HotelsThis is the place to stay if you wish to experience a more personal B&B with a traditional Americana flare. The breakfast was a treat for this out-of-country couple. Fresh fruits in season, some from the garden. Plenty of food on the main plate and accommodation of a gluten free diet. Very appreciated! We stayed in the top room, steep staircase so don't drag your suitcases upstairs! Instead let them stay in the music room, a suggestion made by the hostess. We enjoyed our conversations- stimulating and interesting! The garden is lovely, as is the sun room available to guest for a living room experience.This is NOT the place to stay if you want a bland hotel experience. It is more like visiting a family member that cares for her home and for her guests and asks that you do too.

Dominique, I'm confused about your saying the Tavern is "Under renovation" - and that it is 'Too pricy'. There's literally nothing currently being renovated in or on the Tavern and given the availability and your sole use of the 'sitting room' others have seen 'high value' to the pricing. Please help me to better understand what you are saying? Thank you.

Elizabeth is a great host, we enjoyed our stay. She is also a very good cook. The Tavern is very nice but you need to be prepared to do alot of steps.
