Publié le 23 oct. 2018 sur HotelsTrès bel hôtel et superbe chambre spacieuse, confortable, et joliment décorée. Nous avons apprécié le calme, l'environnement et la gentillesse du personnel. Juste dommage que le petit déjeuner soit pratiquement inexistant.

After checking in, our hotel room looked like it was forgotten about. The hair dryer was hot screwed to the wall in the bathroom, when I called to the main desk, some man came up and temporarily screwed it back into the wall with his finger, but it fell off immediately when I used it that evening. The wall needed to be painted in 2 large areas desperately. The sheer curtain was torn on 1 side. The freezer part of the fridge needed to be scraped or thawed of frozen ice. Also, the lower towel rack fell off the wall and onto the floor when I grabbed a towel after I took my shower on our first night. When I asked about a different room, the woman at the front desk told me that there was no other room cleaned for us to change to. I received an email about my stay and when I called, no one answered. Before making reservations, I had called to inquire about availability of rooms and no one answered after multiple attempts. Someone did call back after I left a message which is a plus. Also, when I inquired about where I could get water, I was told to get it out of the bathroom sink. Overall, the scenery was nice, but I was not impressed at all by our hotel room. After walking around the outside of the hotel on the ground floor, I saw 3 or more remodeled rooms that looked updated and also empty.

While our hotel is staffed 24/7, our front desk staff is not always at the desk as they have many duties during their shifts. In regards to the maintenance issues you described, we will absolutely look into those to make sure our rooms are in working order. Adequate at Best
Publié le 20 août 2024 sur HotelsThis place is in serious need of some updating and a new look, but the basic bones are just fair so maybe not much hope. There is not much to choose from in Westport so no pressure to change. It is ok, adequate but falls far short of being an attractive place.

Check in front deal staff was so rude, felt no welcoming at all, but other front desk staffs were greeting and friendly. Hotel is so old. Restroom in lobby is closed due to water leak. Room has no ac only portable fan and portable heater, bed is so old & soft, no water pressure, toilet issue. Need account for access any tv channels. Only we loved the beautiful view and amenities outside picnic area. Hopefully they are remodeling soon so we like to comeback otherwise not going back.

Hi Grace!Yes our hotel is very old 1968 is when it was built. We are slowly updating our rooms as we can, we have 102 total, so it does take a bit to get to them all. We have 2 accounts for our guests to use while they stay, but are more than welcome to log into their own accounts also. The water leak has been fixed, thank you for bringing that to our attention.

Great dog room!
