Chambre OK mais besoin de rénovation,et équipement

Pour : Salle de bain rénovée mais petite. Bonne localisation.
Contre : Rénovation de porte et fenêtre, porte pas étanche.
Emplacement : Belle emplacement, à proximité de bonne endroit pour la marche, prises de photos et randonné en nature.
Endroit intéressant pour la marche, surtout sur le bord de mer. Paysage magnifique avec énormes vagues et colonie de phoque, ainsi que sentier très bien aménagé. Restaurants moyens mais adéquat.
Service de resto à l'hôtel acceptable.
Personnel très accueillant.

I thought that the room was a very good price for what we paid, until we tried to sleep at night. The double bed was actually two single beds with a sheet over them and they were not the same size twin beds either. One of the mattresses was good quality the other worn out and I spent the whole night rolling into the middle until i made hubby swap with me. Everything else about the room was fine.

Publié le 6 oct. 2023 sur HotelsThis place is not an enjoyable stay. It seems to be an old restaurant and hotel complex that has been reopened with little effort to improve it. Looks run down and poorly maintained. A lot of the building doesn't seem to be open or is just closed up. Check in experience isn't clear (on the booking it says there is no check in and you need to call ahead to get instructions, which is not a welcoming experience). Few amenities provided in the room (TV had few channels, remote did not work (it was so old the batteries were disintegrating inside the remote), not enough plates or cutlery for a room that slept 3 (2 plates and 1 fork, knife and spoon). There was a hole cut in the bathroom ceiling for no clear reason, just left there. There was a lot of damage to the back door of the room. Friendly manager when we got to speak but the entire experience is really poor and needs a significant upgrade as a place to comfortably spend a night.

Two rooms allocated were NOT the ones booked and paid for: queen when king plus single booked/accepted; summer duvet and no electric or extra blanket in one room. Rumbling water pipe all night in one room. While dated and tired, clean and tidy. Never saw anyone from management at any point.
