Good last minute get away
Publié le 25 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayBeautiful property but no photos of stairs, it did say that the stairs were narrow but we thought nothing like that. Super hot in the summer but that is hard to fix. Over all good stay just minor things that can’t be helped like the drive way

A lovely hideaway and base to visit the Bay of Plenty
Publié le 7 juin 2021 sur HomeAwayWe had a nice stay in Whakamarama. The cottage was a lovely hideaway and it was great location to visit the sights in the Bay of Plenty. The house had everything you could need, the wifi was good and we had no problems with connectivity.
I would recommend that visitors bring slippers for the winter as the fire warms up the house brilliantly but the floors are cool.
We found the mattress on the bed very uncomfortable and the show pressure was very low. With these upgraded the house would be perfect.

Slice of Heaven Cabin Review
Publié le 19 mai 2021 sur HomeAwayVery snug warm settings and aesthetic. The fireplace was incredible and overall very relaxing and welcoming. It would have been nice to know that there was no phone coverage there but aside from that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We're glad our guests enjoyed their stay, we love sharing our Slice of Heaven.
The property description does say there is no phone coverage in the cottage, but perhaps we need to make that information more obvious.

Lovely escape
