Publié le 3 févr. 2013 sur HotelsCe motel pourrait être bien, mais il est vieillissant, c'est bien pour une halte d'une nuit. Il possède un Spa pool, mais les jets et les bulles et les lumières étaient cassés, donc cela fait seulement un bain d'eau chaude !

Nice Hotel with character

Pour : It was tidy and well presented, had a bit of character on the buildings, staff was easy to communicate with.
Contre : Internet was very slow and lagged when loading, room facilities (fridge and toilet) needs a bit of maintance made sounds throughout the night.
Came for an overnight stay, were settled into our room fast and given internet access for free. The area was quit until the neighbouring property started mulching trees, there were books with lists of restaurants and other conveniences provided and the use of sky tv, coffee tea etc. Everything in the room was neat and well presented, the room was clean. Bed was comfortable and showers water pressure perfect. Only downside to the room was the fridge made running noises throughout the night and the toilet would occasionally start to drip then the tank would fill.

Staff were very polite and friendly. Parking was adequate, Doesnt have a sink in the kitchen which I found weird and the free wi-fi was abit patchy which can be annoying(would of scored higher if wi-fi was better) but overall fit my needs (overnighter for work) perfectly.

It was too brief as it was a business visit.
I was in late in the evening and early in the morning.

Clean and comfortable but noisy

Pour : Clean, comfortable and friendly staff.
Contre : Removing some foliage at southern driveway to improve visibility when exiting, and to see signage on approach from south.
Emplacement : Very simple drive into Whangarei central, good shopping and cafes. When returning to motel, easiest to approach from northern end.
Stayed four nights - Motel is in a convenient location for driving into Whangarei or further north. Although the motel is dated, the room and linen were clean and with comfortable beds. . Helpful, friendly people. It is on a busy road making access into and out of the driveways tricky, would help if foliage was cut away from the exit drive.
There was a lot of road noise at night.

Friendly welcoming staff
Publié le 29 déc. 2017 sur WotifStayed here for a couple of days over Xmas when it was too rough to get out on our boat. Handy location, basic but tidy rooms. Pool, spa, bbq area. Would definitely stay here again.

Emplacement : close to family and park
Not too bad, kitchenette and bathroom could be updated. Bed was very comfortable
