Staff unavailable. Room dirty. We didn't shower because tub too filthy. No towels or washcloths. Spiders on floor. I Deserve refund.

The staff was available 24 hours a day. They helped you find the pizza place you wanted. You were given brand new towels that were being laundered when you arrived,,And the tub is old and STAINED but always cleaned. And we cant help mother natures spiders..

The hotel is under new management (since, maybe, yesterday, from the look of things) and undergoing massive, needed renovation. In fact, the whole neighborhood seems to be under construction. Frankly, I am amazed the hotel is open and functioning at all. But the staff (few and overworked) were fantastic and did everything they could to make it a comfortable stay.

I did not have a reservation because your company failed to inform me that McClure hotel had not confirmed the reservation to you. I felt I
Had a reservation since I did not hear from Expedia. I think your company has a responsibility to let a customer know when they have not received a confirmation. Furthermore I think it can be very hard to understand your operators That are from the Philippines. I will not use Expedia again.

From the moment we entered, all you could smell was cigarette smoke and urine. There were loud dogs in a nearby room. Our initial room we were assigned didn’t match our reservation so we were switched to a different room. While it had the king bed, room was very substandard, no toiletries or towels. The actual
Toilet was one you might expect in a school bathroom. We left, it was dirty and disgusting.

The Hotel is 200 years old .I am not sure what the toilet has to do with anything as it is a brand new toilet...nothing was dirty as all rooms are cleaned before any guest enters...yes we had a guest with a dog for the night. most hotels allow dogs for an extra fee I can assure you that no one has left urine in the hotel and if they are caught smoking in their rooms an additional fee is charged. All rooms have toiletries ..we may have missed fresh towels but would have been glad to bring them to you.. Your 89.00 dollars per night was refunded immediately request..

The McLure is well-located in downtown Wheeling, but that's about the only good thing. The parking garage was trashy and the doors to the hotel hallways were not secured. The rooms were dated and our mattress was totally worn out. The sheets and towels had probably been used a thousand times. The staff was friendly, but they were very apologetic and are obviously feeling defeated trying to keep this property operational.

The hotel has many access points I'm sorry you didn't ask we would have been more than happy to tell you. We rent over a 100 rooms every weekend and are not defeated in any way shape or form.hid is over a 200 year old hotel ..all doors to the parking garage close and a key card must be used to enter,

Frazzled clerk was having to turn away guests due to malfunctioning a/c on one of six floors. The building, parking garage, halways and lobby were dingy and outdated in appearance. We got a large room with a comfortable king bed and mismatched furniture, one piece broken. The window blinds did not work properly. The duvet cover was permastained compelling us to check the bedding which was clean. The television presented a grainy picture, reminiscent of the sixties with an antenna feed. Bathroom towels were sparse and thread bare. There was no floor mat or soap. The a/c was loud and not functioning well. There were precious few receptacles for charging and they were all at a four foot height. The carpet dirtied bare feet. We would have moved to another hotel but no other rooms were available in town convenient to the festival that we were attending.

Thank You for your Review...Being as this is a TWO HUNDED YEAR OLD hotel we are not able to provide receptacles were most newer hotels have them...I have never had any complaints about our TV or MISMATCHED furniture,,,The air conditioning Malfunctioning on the 6th floor was beyond our control so yes we were frazzled having to turn guests away..We had plenty of soap if there wasnt any in the room we would have provided it to you had we known...Your TOTAL cost for the 3 days was 189.00 Dollars..
