Great location to Blackcomb base

The unit was overall updated and nice and the Aspens are in great proximity to Blackcomb base. It is, however, the only unit we have ever stayed in at the Aspens without air conditioning. It was painfully hot and stuffy the day we checked in and very difficult for my kids to sleep. There are two fans in the unit that are quite dirty so ineffective. The dishwasher was also so dirty and mouldy I was not comfortable using it. Otherwise, the unit was comfortable and clean and everything else worked great.

Lovely clean apartment

The apartment was awesome - perfectly clean if a little basic, great location, and on site staff were so helpful. Our coffee machine stopped working and they instantly brought us another.

Unit has been nicely remodelled, but showing some wear. It needs some of the paint to be touched-up, especially the baseboards. Suite was clean, but could use a "deep" clean. Front desk staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful.

Great Location

Great proximity to the gondola, short walk to restaurants, live music. Slightly longer but pleasant walk to the main village. We really enjoyed the hot tub every day after skiing. Lovely condo, would stay here again. If you want/need coffee, plan to bring some. The hotel style single coffee pods don't work well in the coffee maker.

Definitely not hotel level cleanliness - but much more expensive than an equivalent hotel suite (stayed at delta last year). Won’t stay here again.

It's our 5th trip to your condo

Hello, this trip we are disappointed in the overall condition of this unit. Needs someone to take their time and go though the unit as many defects have come up this trip. Biggest headache is the dishwasher is not functioning properly. ( Front desk made aware of this on our arrival.) Alos the bathroom sink is extremely slow to drain. Dining room light switch dimmer is broken. The frying pan is very bent and needs replacing. Overall unit looks worn hard by renters which is sad as we also stayed in this unit last year and it was truly amazing. Having own a condo for last 25 years I realize how busy rentals become. Please have someone take a hour or so as many other small issues. The cleanliness was only ok as well. I very well know how hard it is to properly maintain a high use rental property , hopefully someone tidy's it up before major issues arise. We love the Aspens and are returning in February and March. We have started to look for other units. I could go on and on but feel my point is made. All the best in the furture. Ian Walker

In making the reservation, the rate advertised was not correct and significant additional fees were charged by VRBO, which was not stated in the listing. In addition, the listing was also removed from the Travelocity search engines AND my specific booking/reservation number is no longer retrievable. I would not recommend this location because of the hidden fees and shady practices used when advertising and booking the site.
