We've stayed at the Cascade Lodge a number of times over the years so are familiar with the property, location and amenities. All are great - it's very close to town for restaurants, bars, groceries etc. The pool is huge, the 2 hot tubs are clean and... hot ;)
The unit itself looks to be very recently renovated. Very clean, bright and modern. Bed was comfy, but our kids said the sofabed was not the best. Our only complaint was that the unit faces onto Highway 99, with large trees blocking the view but not the noise. At first I thought a window was open or not sealed, but it was just the constant hum of traffic on the road nearby. That said, it was not an issue at night when trying to sleep as the traffic is minimal only during the day there was constant 'grey noise'.
