A solid rental experience
Publié le 19 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property was very spacious and suited our needs for a group of 6 adults. There were lots of games and the hot tub was clean and new. The listing for this rental was misleading, however. The unit has a lot of wear and tear - for example, little things like the garbage cans being broken, dents in the walls and on the fridge. The cleanliness also could have been better such as the coffee grinder looks like it had never been cleaned, couches were dusty and had crumbs on them, etc. But my biggest issue is that the listing says there is a swimming pool and a gym listed under the amenities section - this is not true. That needs to be amended. There are no clubhouse facilities for use, you have to go to a community center for that.

Thank you for taking the time to review the property. We have contacted our cleaners to inform her about the dust and crumbs the new sofas this is an issue as they are new. The broken bin we were not aware of .The coffee grinder we will removed as we have a drip coffee machine and an Nespresso machine so its no longer required.
We have been listed with VRBO for quite some time now. Owners would previously manually list the amenities and features in a different format. VRBO have changed their software recently. the old information we had listed on the former webpage which was Englewood Green's and Nicklaus North is located very close to the Meadow park recreational facility. Here you will find and indoor heated pool and gymnasium. What could have happened when they transferred this information to the new webpage is that they listed this as a facility and the rest of the information was removed.
We wouldn't list any property we own as having a fabricated amenity. Peter and I would not put this feature on our webpage if it is not accurate .
Having just looked at our amenities area on the webpage we do not have the area where you would default as having a pool or a gym activated. I'm a bit confused as to where you found this information. it could be located in the old email generated from the website for check-in information. I cannot see this on our webpage.
When you do put pool and gym in the refined search our property does not come up as available its not listed as having these features.
We have however, now added to our website that the Meadow Park Sports Centre is conveniently located a 900 metre walk from the Townhome which does have an indoor skating rink, indoor pool and gym.

We knew it was a short drive from the village and wanted the quiet
Description is accurate and hosts were super accommodating

Well equipped and comfortable home

We were in town for a family wedding and often times had other family members stopping in for a visit. The home is spacious and the living areas very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the wood-burning fireplace and the hot tub. We would highly recommend this home to anyone who is interested.

The perfect ski-cation
Publié le 23 mars 2023 sur HomeAwayAnne and Peter have a beautiful home - the perfect space for hot tubbing and relaxing after a full day of skiing. We had 8 adults, there was plenty of space as long as one couple is willing to take the bunks! We had a car to get between the house and town, however we also took the bus which was very convenient. A stocked kitchen and in house laundry were major bonuses!

Ski week

Whistler get away

Comfortable townhouse

Nicklaus North is a great quiet community and was a very short drive to the the ski lifts, I think it was 5 minutes. Beds were comfortable. Excellent hot tub with plenty of towels. Wood fireplace with a gas starter and plenty of wood. Kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials and a Nespresso. Plenty of easy to follow instructions for use of appliances, fireplace ect.
Peter answered all questions promptly and when we left a key behind he made sure we got it back. Definately would stay again and recommended.
