Great for a few days exploring moors and Whitby
Publié le 22 sept. 2024 sur HotelsIt took us 2 goes to spot the lane leading up to the property but there was space to park even though a few others were there.
The property is beautifully appointed and we were greeted on arrival even though we were before 4pm.
Lovely quiet location even though near the rail line with steam trains.
Well appointed room and modern shower room. Good choice for breakfast
Pity about the foggy weather on the moors but a lovely few days

A great place for relaxing break!
Publié le 22 mai 2024 sur HotelsAnother great stay at Grosmont House. It was really convenient for access to/from Grosmont Station as well as the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. The room was clean nicely arranged, it had all the accessories you’d need. The staff, yet again, were fantastic and friendly! The breakfast was brilliant too! We shall be back again!

A nice place in a great location just a 5 minute walk from Grosmont Station.
Its not a modern hotel, and rooms are not soundproofed so you can expect to overhear other guests coming and going. The showers are difficult to set to the right heat and are affected by other people using water. A bit of modernisation would help. Decor in room dated and could do with refreshing but otherwise, a nice friendly place to spend a few nights.
