The beds were nice and comfy and the sheets were clean.
I found Simon to be very accommodating and very flexible on checkout. The instructions he gave us for check-in were very clear.
I would definitely check availability when coming back to Whitby.

Fantastic stay

The cottage is situated perfectly, a few minutes walk to the harbour. The accommodation is spread over 3 floors and has everything you could possibly need for your stay.
We will definitely be back, it’s our go to place to stay in Whitby! Thanks again!

Perfect location but beware stairs

Fantastic location, within walking distance to everything. The host was great at communicating
Very roomy.
Con’s
Smoke smell was dreadful, although this is a smoke free property, someone had clearly been smoking there, we slept with all windows open and as soon as they were closed the smell was as strong as ever. It also has the smallest shower ever

Cozy and convenient cottage

The house is very narrow, with many stairs, but the rooms offered surprisingly convenient space for all of us (5 persons). Everything was very clean and we didn't miss anything. Thank you very much.

Brilliant area rainbow cottage is an ideal location for easy access to all.

The cottage is just off a street with shops and restaurants and cafes .really easy for provision

However I feel it should be more obviously stated that there are 3 flights of steep stairs. Two of our party struggled, we are all older people. Also the shower is very small.party is 6'4" and 19 stone and couldnt get into it.

I am sorry that you found some issues with access in the property, although I believe the layout of the cottage is clearly explained in the online property description where the following is stated: 'Please note that the cottage is located over 4 floors and may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.'
