Sandsend - York Cottage - a family break that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms Reviews

My family and I had a wonderful stay at York cottage. There are several cottages so it felt like a tiny hamlet. Having access to the beautiful hotel grounds was a bonus, especially with having our dog with us. Inside the property was decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Super clean, well equipped and with very comfortable beds. Sandsend within walking distance for those who don’t mind a 15-20mins walk (or a very short drive) and a brilliant beach, most of which is dog friendly. If you want more privacy then perhaps try one of the cottages with a deck at the back. York cottage has a terrace at the front with seating, but you do feel like you’re sharing the space, which we didn’t mind so much. Location wise it is perfect for Whitby, Staithes, Robin Hoods bay, Scarborough and the Dales. Recommended.

Lovely cottage on what used to be The Raithwaite Estate. Building work being carried out on the hotel but no disturbance to our break. Well equipped cottage, well furnished. Very pleased with the property
