Beautiful apartment

Very tastefully decorated and furnished.
Everything you could want from books to dvds , games for kids and all the little touches like hand wash, toilet paper, tea coffee etc. Nice comfy beds. We stayed for 4 nights with our 13 year old granddaughter and she loved it as well.
Good fish and chip shop just round the corner.
Whitby is a lovely seaside town with lots of quirky shops and nice beach.
The only downside was the parking but as the houses are Victorian you have to expect that. I managed to park one street away and that’s were the car stayed until we left but you didn’t need a car as everything was in walking distance. Lovely view from apartment and beautiful period features which floods with light.
Definitely would recommend.

Thank you for your review, I am happy to read you enjoyed the apartment and our lovely town of Whitby. August is the busiest time of the year as with many holiday resorts. Generally everyone manages to park even if you have to be just a street or two away. Everything is easily reached by foot thankfully so there is very little chance of ever needing your car for the stay usually unless you are wanting to travel to other villages or nip out to the supermarket. We have never had the situation where we could not park nearby. Hope to welcome you back in the future sometime.

The bath taps need sorting out. One of them was loose.
We were unable to use the bathroom extractor fan.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention I was not aware of this. On checking the issues immediately it appears that the tap is slightly loose but useable and safe and the extractor fan on the ceiling has failed. We have a plumber addressing these issues as soon as he possible can but as there is an opening window and everything is useable this does not class as an emergency nor does it impede on the quality and comfort of anyone’s stay. Happy that you had everything for your stay, our aim as always is to make the apartment a home from home and have everything you could possibly need for your convenience and comfort whilst remaining in a competitive market. We appreciate any issues being reported immediately to us personally so we can work to address them as soon as possible. Hope to welcome you back in the future.

Fantastic stay

Good communication with property owner.
Would highly recommend this beautiful flat.

Luxurious Apartment. Fantastic Stay!

The apartment was so tastefully decorated, comfy and a real haven of peace and quiet. Parking was no problem and we always found a space opposite. Whitby is a great place to stay with so many lovely places to eat and drink and lots to see nearby. A beautiful part of England! We have no reservations in recommending this apartment as the best we have stayed in, thank you for hosting us Kerry.

Fabulous apartment
Publié le 18 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWhat a wonderful apartment! It lacked nothing we needed, all good quality too. It is located quite near Whitby centre, but up a steep hill. The owner Kerry was super helpful.parking was a bit difficult owing to an inconsiderate driver parking in the unloading area for two days, but we had a great stay and would highly recommend this apartment.

Lovely, thank you for taking the time to write this review after your stay. Yes the hill is steep but it is short and we always say it works off the fish and chips or tea and cake. As there isn't a lot of free parking in Whitby, at times it may take a couple of laps to find a spot, but thankfully, we have never failed. Plus it is a very residential area so in the day time people tend to be at work which frees up more spaces. Thank you for recommending, we would love to welcome you back in the future sometime.

Lovely flat, great location
Publié le 14 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed for four nights during May Half Term. The flat was perfect for our needs with everything we needed for a family of four. The accommodation was clean, well equipped and we enjoyed the views from the windows.
The location is fantastic being just a short walk into town and the beach. We always found a parking spot nearby but sometimes it took a little while for one to become available. Communication from Kerry was fantastic, thank you for a wonderful stay.

Publié le 24 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayoverall impression of property very good, lots of extras ie books, games, lovely decoration and cosy feel to living room area .could not get on to net flix but no big deal, heating a bit hit and miss could be chilly in winter , did provide throws, no parking area but managed to find somewhere on the road outside . Overall a very relaxing stay. Also provided with excellent information re amenities, Would definitely stay here again as very near to whitby amenities , lovely cosy room ,good size bedrooms and very comfy beds..very much enjoyed

Thank you for your review I am happy you liked the apartment. We do check the Netflix regularly and have found no issues? Maybe someone else had used their own log in details and forgot to log out again? Regards the heating, I am a little confused as it is set on a timer for morning and evening and is easily controlled by simply turning the thermostat up or down or turning the timed to manual. All radiators but the bathroom are also on individual thermostats to control the heat room by room. The apartment is very warm even in winter due to the large bay windows capturing the heat from the sun. I am sorry you had issues over your stay but I do give my phone number out in case of any problems at the time which can quickly be dealt with. I do hope to welcome you back sometime in the future.
