Pontiac lake
Publié le 5 août 2024 sur HomeAwayHouse and beach were great. Lots of room for big group. Checkout policy a bit too much (wash and dry beach towels and empty dishwasher). Beds were comfortable and tvs in every room. Kids bunk room had lots of toys and games.

We're sorry that you feel that way, Stefan. Unfortunately, this is not an accurate portrayal of events. You attempted to cancel the evening before you arrived, which goes against any vacation rental policy. We reached out to you in an attempt to accommodate your situation. You would not reply. We had no idea if you were still coming? This put us in a precarious situation. We could not cancel your reservation, but we could not give your your reservation away either. What were we to do? In fact, we never did hear back from you at all until you posted this completely unfair and untrue review.

Perfect family weekend retreat

Small Family Reunion

The large dining room table accommodated our meals and was used for games and cards during some rainy weather. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean; the kitchen was well equipped. Some of the furnishings and contents were dated, but functional for all.

There were large ants in the main bathroom.
The large pontoon boat under the only tree in the backyard that provided shade was not ideal.
The grill is a disaster waiting to happen. The bottom is literally rusted out right above the propane tank.

We're happy that our home was what you were looking for and we thank you for letting us know about your issues. We only would've hoped that you would've let us know before now and then we could've rectified them for you. We will get an exterminator out there right away. We will replace the grill tomorrow. We could've moved the boat for you. Please come see us again!

Weekend getaway
Publié le 30 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayOur family had a great time! Place was clean and spacious. We had lots to do with all the outdoor activities! One thing I would say is that the main room gets warm if you leave all the curtains open, the sun beats down in there. So if you close them up during the day it stays much cooler. Would definitely stay again!
