Publié le 23 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayAll was as stated in the listing. All the pots, pans and utensils needed and clean, close to the lake and the Porkies. I will say, the paper products thing was a surprise. It is listed in the property description but I was disappointed and how much “to get you started” amounted to. There was a single roll of toilet paper in each bathroom along with a few tissues. We were in need of more by the first morning. Given the cost to have these stocked, seemed like a pretty big hassle.

I'm glad you found the house to your liking. The area has so much nature to enjoy! And I'm sorry you found the supplies disappointing, many rental situations don't supply any paper products, garbage bags, etc.,
and you are required to bring your own,
but we get you started. I hope we checked all the rest of the boxes for you. Thank you for staying with us!

Porcupine Mountains

House is great and in a convenient location to travel from to see area waterfalls and hike the trails. We took some nice pictures of the Northern Lights from the balcony. Thank you for sharing your home.

Quite getaway close to Hikes

Pack your consumables though (no dishsoap, sparce dish pods, paper towel, toilet paper, and bathroom soaps).
Really enjoyed the lay out of the home though worked great for two families- upstaris has two beds and one bath- downstairs has the other bed and bath.

Great location to visit the Porkies

Home Away from Home
Publié le 19 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe felt right at home here. The house is nicely decorated and furnished with everything we needed. It’s located in a quiet safe neighborhood. The location was a perfect half way point for visiting the Apostle Islands boat tour and the Keweenaw Peninsula (both about a 2 hour drive). Plus Lake of the Clouds is only 20 minutes away. It was kind of hard getting the keys out of the foam liner in the key holder. Maybe bring some tweezers. All in all we enjoyed our stay here. The owner was quick to respond to any questions. It’s one of the nicest houses in the area and we would definitely stay here again.

Cute, clean house near lots of nature!
Publié le 8 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful stay in White Pine! The house was super clean and cute and accommodated 6 adults comfortably. It’s just a short drive up to Lake Superior. We explored waterfalls, the Porcupine Mountains, and other shops nearby. I would highly recommend staying at Julie’s!
