Great place for long weekend gatherings

Publié le 15 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe only thing that irritated me was there wasn’t any process for early check in . I understand that someone was checking out the day of check in. The cleaning staff left around 3:00pm but we had to stand out in the cold until the lock released at 4:02. Really seemed unnecessary

Better than described!

It does have a basement unit, from which you can hear all sounds when you’re in the living room. But that was a very minor thing and we would absolutely stay here again in the future! Really wonderful

Lovely home …
Publié le 23 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy two sisters, brother-in-law and myself had a lovely week staying in Northern Lights, while attending my niece’s wedding in Hood River. The kitchen was incredible … with everything anyone could ever wish for in drawers and cupboards, including spices. The beds were very comfortable, the couches were OK. It was very clean, but we were disappointed that the hot tub was not working, while we were there. Short walk to town. Excellent bakery just a couple blocks away and a wonderful grocery store, within walking distance too. Although it’s a $7 round trip over the bridge to Hood River, we all fell in love with Hood River … the shopping, coffee shops and restaurants … especially Betty’s for breakfast. So much to see and do in the area. I highly recommend.

Publié le 7 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house was very clean, the kitchen was mostly well equipped with new appliances. It is conveniently located just a couple of blocks from the downtown restaurants. Our only disappointment was that the hot tub wasn’t working. We plan to go back next year.

Perfect stay in White Salmon

Comfortable, clean, great location and everything you could possibly require in your stay. I have seen such a well-stocked kitchen in a rental property.
The only suggestion I would make is to clarify up front that all bedrooms are upstairs and that there is no handrail getting into the house. My husband uses a cane, and made it with some difficulty, but others might not have it.
