It had a lovely back yard, things were clean. I couldn't get on the wifi in the morning and had no contact with the owner in the morning.

Anonymous: I give everyone the WIFI code when they check in, and advise them that the WIFI shuts down at 1030 pm and back on at 730 am. I wasnt aware that the WIFI was not working. And yes, I am not always around first thing in the morning. I usually do my grocery shopping, or walk the pups. Sorry I couldnt be of more help.

Cindy: My B&B is NOT suitable for handicapped persons, and the B&B is not listed as one! If you would have stated that you could NOT do stairs, I would have phoned Expedia, and had them find you other accommodation! You booked a very large room, however, it was on the upper level of the house with stairs, so I had to ask the guest in the lower level room, if she could move, so you could have that room (that had no stairs). The woman willing gave up her room for you. That room is for a single person only, and I gave your husband that information. I tried my best to make you comfortable for the one night that you were here, but perhaps you should have booked into a hotel/motel, that have handicapped access and elevators, etc.

Very nice home with an awesome backyard to boot.. I nicknamed it the Mr Miyagi backyard. Host very courteous, friendly and accommodating. Very clean and nicely decorated. Only critique I have: Rooms need dark curtains to keep sunlight out A TV in the room would also help wind down and fall asleep A ceiling fan or fan in the room to circulate air in the warm afternoon.. Otherwise wise, thank you Pamela for being a great host and letting us experience Canadian hospitality..

Thanks Joe to the wonderful review. Thats the beauty of Yukon - Land of the midnight sun. I had curtains in the rooms before, but a lot of people complained that it not only darken the room, when not closed, but also made the room seem small. So I took them off. I do provide eye blinders in all the rooms, for just this purpose. I have four rooms, and two of the rooms have TV. You were in the room that did not have a TV. Originally, again, I had a TV in the room, handing from the wall, but many guests said it was very intrusive snd they were afraid that it was going to fall on them, so I took it out. I also had the same complained about the stand up fans. Some guests said it was too noisy, and others asked to have them removed, so they could put their suitcases in the closet. I also though I would replace the 7-track lights in the ceiling, but then the lightning would be very poor....! I appreciate all the comments....Thanks you. I hope you return again, to Whitehorse!

In a residential area very close to other sketchy homes. House was cluttered and seemed crowded. Room was very small. Blinds were not room darkening so it was too light in the room most of the night

Efren: Thanks so much for the great review!! The summer "light" hours can be an issue, but we generally don't complain about the 21 long summer hours, as in winter we get about 4! Thanks again. I hope your stay was enjoyable!

Nice room with very comfortable bed and large satellite TV. The bathroom was clean and modern and with a very good large shower. However, we had booked a private bathroom and discovered on arrival that it was shared with several other rooms. As it happens only one other guest was staying the same night as us but even so what not what we had booked.

Thank you for the review. I dont think you mentioned to me that you booked the private room, when I showed you the room. because there was no one in the private room at the time, and I could have switched you to that room, but I dont think that you actually booked the private room. You probably thought you did because the description said it was a deluxe room, but you would have known it wasn't because the private room, would have been more expensive. On the other hand, you had the entire bathroom to yourself, as there was no one else in the house at the time, I am sorry, if the other room was not to your satisfaction.
