Perfection!

Location was perfect and was a 15 - 20 minute drive to everywhere on our list to visit (Cherokee, Silva, Dillsboro, & Bryson city) and an hour to Gatlinburg. Cabin was perfect size for me and my other half all though a lot of laughs were had watching him go upstairs (6’3 and a bigger build) :) The wrap around porch was the perfect place to spend our mornings listening to the mountain side creek. Neighbors were friendly, and all though I wasn’t able to personally meet Steve and Denise as they were on their own vacation, they were in constant communication making sure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. Can’t wait to go back and already planning a trip for the summer!

Parents Weekend WCU

Relaxing
Publié le 29 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was our first experience with a cabin and did not know what to expect. WOW is all I can say! Denise and Steve were great host, the cabin was clean, and location was spectacular. This hidden gem was All it said it was. We will be back.

Cabin in the woods
Publié le 4 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay very much and the location was great for us to be able to attend the outdoor drama “Unto These Hills”. The secluded environment and nearby creek made our stay relaxing. The cabin itself was comfortable and met all needs. We would recommend that a handle be added to the inside of the bathroom door, the pullout had some dog hair, and lastly it would be nice if the neighbors cleaned up their yard a bit. It would have also been helpful if the truck parked near the neighbors was moved. This would have made getting out of the driveway easier. Where the truck is parked would make a great space for backing the vehicle so we could have driven out instead of having to back down the driveway and the little bridge.

Thank you for your kind words....so happy to hear your enjoyed your stay...yes, we agree that it would be nice if the neighbor cleaned up his yard...you only see it when you pull in/out...once your are in the cabin or on the porch you don't see it...regarding the bathroom door, we will address the matter, thank you...we have addressed the issue with him many times...we are grateful it doesn't hinder the experience when you are on the porch enjoying mother nature....

Great cabin and great location.
Publié le 1 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin is really nice. Loved the view from the porch and through the skylights. Really liked listening to the creek flowing throughout the night. It's a really nice and secluded drive up to the cabin.

Very peaceful, beautiful, and comfortable
Publié le 26 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayI had an excellent stay at the Cozy Cabin. I stayed for 3 nights and wish it could have been longer.
The cabin was very comfortable, the porch was fantastic with an amazing view, and the location was perfect.
Denise and Steve were very hospitable and warm, and I enjoyed meeting them. I would love to stay with them again, and recommend the cabin to anyone else looking for a peaceful, beautiful place to stay.

Publié le 11 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved the location of the cabin. There was no traffic around and you could hear the creek flowing from anywhere in the cabin. The staircase was not fun to climb or descend, but other than that we loved it!
