Take a step back in time--this home stood during so many historical events of the past 100 hundred years. These walls speak to me of times gone by......sitting on the front porch you can almost imagine the milk truck drive by, the newspaper boy riding by to deliver the daily news. Sitting in the dining room, you can almost hear the conversations of over 100 years of history. Enjoy the view from the upstairs living room, where you can almost imagine a horse drawn carriage drive by. Sit in the clawfoot tub with a good book and your favorite beverage. Bluebird bungalow is all about slowing time down and appreciating the finer things in life. Welcome to my home, where time stands still and memories are made.

So many lovely areas to relax in--a main floor TV room, seating area, upstairs media and game room (complete with one-of-a-kind metal games affixed to the wall). Outdoor entertainment areas include a dreamy front porch with porch swing and wicker furniture and a backyard pergola dining area.

Three themed bedrooms on the main floor. "If the shoe fits" is a nod to the fab ruby slippers in the famed Wizard of Oz movie and features a queen bed and smart TV. "You are my Sunshine" and "The Aviator" are adjoining rooms with one Queen in the Sunflower Bedroom and a Full bed in the Aviator room. Main floor tub/shower combo bathroom. Upstairs features an original clawfoot tub bathroom, a spacious bedroom themed "Once upon a Star" with a Queen bedroom and blackout cellular blinds. This host was so thoughtful in how this house was set up and stocked with essentials. The house was decorated very simple but so beautiful. We had the best time there with family. Neighborhood was quiet, and neighbors were friendly! Highly recommend, and we stay at a lot of Vrbos.

We had a High School girls weekend and chose this Vbro as our destination. It was perfect for the 9 of us. Very spacious and clean and decorated so nice. Very cute house. Loved the neighborhood and felt very safe. We had a great time and would choose this house again.

Perfect Place to Connect
This home is just as charming as it looks! It has been very thoughtfully remodeled, so it is super comfy and easy to live in, while retaining it's vintage appeal. The host is wonderful to work with and the neighborhood is full of nice people. Highly recommended! Our blended family came together here for the first time, so it will always be special to us.

A wonderful home in a quiet, leafy neighborhood. Very clean and comfortable with plenty of space for 6 of us. We especially enjoyed the front porch. Host was wonderful at communicating. My husband left his prescription sunglasses and Jennifer returned them to us by mail. Would definitely stay again!

House was roomie easy for a group for to stay in and have their own space. We had a work presentation so a lot of common space to work on stuff but then our own private space to stay in neighborhood was quiet. I would certainly recommend this property to others.

We loved our stay at this property - plenty of space for two families to spread out and have their own “floor.” Property manager is wonderful and super quick to respond. We felt safe and the house is in a great area. We will 100% rent this again when we return to Wichita to visit families.

It's difficult to find a home spacious enough for the family of 10 that I travel with. We require a minimum of 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. This VRBO fit the bill. Such a charming, sweetly decorated home that met our weekend needs!

Girls trip to Wichita
If you are searching for a lovely 5 bed home in perfectl location in Wichita- look no more. This home is an absolutely charming old craftsman architecture in o e of the best locations in Wichita. Close to everything! Walkable neighborhood, Outdoor dining options were awesome during our first real taste of fall this weekend. Landscaping and yard well kept, house is well appointed with anything you would need to cook a light meal. Welcome treat was a nice touch from the owner. House was warm and inviting and aided great conversation among our sisters/family. I understand a Festival of Lights is not to be missed around the holidays. Perfect location. For that as well. Kureg and drip coffee maker with coffee and filters provided!

Beautifully redone older home in a great location. Jennifer responded quickly to any questions/concerns. She even welcomed us with a yummy cookie that's made locally. Delicious!! The home is decorated with fun theme rooms. The kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed to make meals. We would definately consider staying here again.

Great rental!
I rented this property for my wedding weekend. The girls and I had a lovely time enjoying mimosas, playing games and enjoying each others company in the open home. Jennifer was wonderful to work with, the made the experience wonderful. If we are needing a place near botanica again we will keep her in mind.

We had 5 couples ranging in age from early 30s -early 60s. We arrived to find a very easy check in. This is a great home especially if you love older homes with lots of character!! Everything was clean and updated!! Would definitely stay again or recommend to others!!
